. . . I personally have not hated Joker War or Fear State, so I don't hate the idea of another event, but I also kinda wish there was a year where Batman solved a case every issue of the main title, just a whole year of one and dones.
Well, in current times, that might be a bit extreme.
But one or two of them between bigger story arcs would be nice.

I'm kind of an extreme person sometimes. :) But I really like one and dones, and when done correctly, they can ALSO tie into a larger story. Bob Venditti proved this with his Superman: Man of Tomrrow digital first run - a magnificent accomplishment! I don't see why someone couldn't do something similar for Batman.
I'm not interested in the event, but I'm super happy that my countryman, Amancay Nahuelpan, will be participating in this event!!!

Well, Wonder Woman at least hasn't had a (good) dedicated event in years, while Aquaman is being contained within one series and they don't have the hangups of the Bat-line.
As I wind down my interest in continuing to purchase DC, this is my last event. I’m driving the Flash and WW to their respective #800 issues, and goodnight DC. That this is a weekly at 4.99 a pop, wow. I thought the Wolverine garbage at Marvel was gutsy…

That's a different event....

Hahaha! You're right. I'm really lost in what's currently happening in the Bat books :p

Is anyone else tired of Ra’s al Ghul?

I don't know about as much as the Joker. And I should've said the al Ghuls as opposed to just Ra's. There was the recent Batman and the Outsiders series, which was basically a 17-part R'as al Ghul arc. Then there was Neal Adams' Batman vs. R'as Al Ghul series. Before that, Tynion did a R'as arc in his Detective run. Talia in The Silencer. Talia in Bendis' Leviathan stuff. The new Robin series.
Yeah, Ra's has been appearing a lot. He was also in a Batman/Superman arc.

I personally wonder if they're feeding into each other.

We can also probably add Batman/Superman Authority Special. It didn't have Ra's himself, but was about the family.
