Those are very, very good.
You are making me want to get more books bound already tbh.
I've also started binding books for others. I do cover/table of contents design, prep work, and work with the bindery. That way folks who either don't have time or just don't have the graphic design skills, and/or don't want to worry about messing up their books trying to prep them, can just send me the books and leave it to me. My favorite designs for others so far was a Bronze age Batman set I did for a member of this board actually:

Of if folks just want some art designed, I can do that. So if that's something anyone here would be interested in, feel free to check out my site (or if you just want to see more pics!) www.comicbindingpro.com or PM me (END OF ADVERTISEMENT!)
But yeah, binding is the best. I much prefer a pretty shelf and easy to access hardcovers to longboxes and dealing with bags and boards. There is no contest.
Hi there, I’m new to the boards. I was wondering if ANYONE might have actual pics of these Bronze Age Batman books? Maybe Dick Grayson still has the pics somewhere, since he was the one that put them together? And I did go to the website, but it was the same as here, not clear or anything.
I’m wanting to see what issues went into each volume. This is the Batman I grew up with! And as soon as I saw these that’s what I’ve wanted to do! So if anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it!!!
Thanks, Darrin

Some not so blurry pics can be found here: https://comicbindingpro.tumblr.com/post/121698661878/some-bronze-age-batman-collecting-gerryconway-and
They aren’t clear enough to see the full contents. The person who had these books made posts here regularly, I hope he won’t mind me posting his map because it’s epic and awesome :)

Well that is exactly like you said...EPIC!!! Damn!
Thanks so much for that, Dick! I dont suppose you would know any other websites that might have the full-size pics of the books, would you? I had found those previously. Unfortunately, those give me the same problem...I cant read the backs or see the details of the covers. If anyone has access to the full size pics and could post them i would forever be grateful!
Thanks so much,
Darrin

You said “I’m wanting to see what issues went into each volume” and I just listed exactly that. I have the original photoshop files still, but what else are you looking for? Not sure what's special about those particular photos (which I don’t have any longer but, as I said, not really important since I have the photoshop files themselves.)
Edit - spoke too soon! I found my old photobucket login and downloaded the photos. But they aren’t significantly better than what is at that link (these original pictures were taken by the bindery so weren’t hi-res or anything to begin with):

I'm sorry... I just literally only wanted to be able to read the backs of them, thats all. Thanks anyway, sorry for the miscommunication. No hard feelings?

Of course not! When I get some time I’ll dig up the photoshop files and PM you.
AWESOME!!!! Thank you so much !!!
I’d hoped the Moench/Jones collections would sell enough to warrant some reprints of Moench’s early Bat work, but alas. Some great stuff there, despite the weirdness of pre-Crisis Jason Todd.
DG, are you still taking commissions for design work?

DC has been reprinting those bronze age Moench issues, albeit in artist-centric Tales of the Batman volumes (the Gene Colin volumes) which makes for poor readability in terms of storylines. Maybe one day they'll get there and do it right though.
And yep, still doing some design work when I can fit it in, but way less than I used to. Give me a shout if you need some covers or TOCs worked up :)
AWESOME!!!! Thank you so much !!!
For some reason I didn’t have the option to PM you, but I sent you an email. Let me know if you didn’t get it!
Hey Dick,
I dk why it wouldn’t let you pm me. I went into settings and checked another thing, so maybe give it another try? I sadly didn’t have anything in my email:(

Not sure what’s up. Maybe because you have a low post count or something related to being a new member, but there’s no option to send a PM to you like I have with other users, only the send email option (Which apparently doesn’t work either!) Just send me an email at comicbindingpro@gmail.com and we can communicate that way :)
Hey hey! Welcome back Dick Grayson!!! Great work as usual man...missed seeing YOUR beautiful work!!!
