Scooby and shaggy have been brave at times also.
Brave? Maybe, if driven by snacks!? The one thing that can overcome fear. LOL!
But mostly....

Baltar of Battlestar Galactica was pretty horrible.
There is the Cowardly Lion from the Wizard of Oz, yet I think there are plenty of other characters more cowardly than him. Any suggestions?
In the book he wasn't Cowardly at all. Just like the Scarecrow wasn't dumb, and the Tin Man wasn't uncaring.
In the movie...they seemed to forgot this. Not sure why.

My suggestion is someone terribly obscure: Figaro Pho.
Figaro suffers from every known phobia and has been the star of two animated series in Australia: The Adventures of Figaro Pho and The New Adventures of Figaro Pho.

They weren't in the film I saw. Did you watch it to the end?

I agree, the Lion only thought he was Cowardly just as the Scarecrow only thought he wasn't smart, and the Tin Man only thought he had no heart. There is a certain power in self perception, even if that perception is badly formed and inaccurate.
So I used him as a very low bar, knowing that there were many other characters out there who were true cowards.

Scooby and Shaggy have only been "brave" either by sheer accident or temporary food courage (Scooby Snacks). Otherwise, they ALWAYS try and keep distance between themselves and whatever potential thing that could chase them is lurking in the area.
-
Dr. Zachary Smith could be cowardly, but he sometimes rose to the occasion and did very brave things--which speaks highly of him, since it takes a lot of guts for someone to overcome their nature and be the hero.
Lord Jim was a coward. That's the whole mess that got him into the situation he was in.

In alien invaders scooby and shaggy were brave to save their girlfriends. In guess who scooby doo, scooby charged at the monster to save the guest star who scooby cared about.
Bat mite turns scooby and shaggy brave in brave in the brave.

Wade Duck is pretty much afraid of anything you can think of.
He lives in fear that really fat people might decide to use him as a couch and has ran of screaming at the thought that somewhere in the world it might be Tuesday. He can't watch football because he's afraid that whenever the players huddle together that they're all talking about him. Once he panicked over the fact that he didn't see anything to be afraid of.

I also think so. The not so good doctor is by far the biggest, and arguably most treacherous, yellow belly around.
