That was pretty much the conclusion of Secret Wars -- where they set the stage for the Reed, Franklin and Owen (Molecule Man) to recreate the multiverse. All of the Future Foundation was with them in those final pages, and pretty sure they were in the lifeboat in the first issue when the last incursion was happening.
I didn't read Secret Wars. I pretty much swore off "event" comics years ago after reading too many disappointing ones.

I still haven't read issue #1 yet. Should have it this weekend.
But this preview for #2 doesn't give me much hope for this series.
Guess it's back to the back issues for me.
Yeah, it's only a year at the most in 616.
The multiversal excuse for soap opera aging of kids.

What exactly is putting you off?

hopefully more adventures in these new worlds will be explored and not just off-camera recaps or one-panel recaps.
-
Yesss, the kids have aged

I'm puzzled by this. There is a nice focus on family relations and wild, crazy, cosmic happenings. The only real difference here is we're not seeing the entire tale that this scene is finishing up. But, wouldn't the FF and company have had lots and lots of these as their multiversal escapades were happening?

The kids.
The kld's ages.
The art does nothing for me.
This isn't what I am looking for in a Fantastic Four comic.
It just seems to be more of Hickman's work.
Which I didn't like.

I was amused by the meta when Sue narrated that the Sue/Namor shipping is just fanfic.
-
I guessed around 10-14 for the kids based on the cover. From the looks of it, I was off. Franklin should be very familiar with shaving and Val familiar with love-crazed weirdos going after her.
I'm hoping they give Franklin some of his MC2 universe traits because I'm not feeling the Johnny Storm 2.0 from him.

Omg yes especially when you look at that Namor 50 cover
Why have all the kids aged about ten years and Reed and Sue look the exact same?
WHen your kids have aged 10+, maybe you'll be blessed enough to know ;)
Seriously, aging is pretty slow from 30s to 40s, I wouldn't sweat it. In contrast, a kid at 12 vs 16 looks like 20+ years of growth. There's nothing linear about it.

Hell, I’ll be 40 in a few years, and people still think I’m in my 20’s.

wonder if the whole threat to universes is arising is another god like threat like beyonders or celestials just like last time in heroes reborn (although the celestials are busy in avengers dying and being resurrected) or something new or just Franklin not being able to create stable ones. :p
