Hulk vs Mordor
Okay, for reasons unknown Hulk has been dropped into Middle Earth and he is super angry. Hulk hates the red eye man and is on his way to destroy Barad Dur. First, he has to fight his way through Sauron's forces (the whole army including olipahnts and Shelob.) Can Hulk pound his way through all these monsters or will they overwhelm him?

Hulk steamrolls through the army like a hot knife through butter. As likely as not the survivors start to worship him as a god. They've never seen someone like him before. Then he casually destroys Barad-dur.

From the title I thought you had him fighting Dr. Stranges' enemy.

Ditto.
I was all ready with a "Quickdraw Thunderclap vs D-Dump." response.

You know how they say one does not simply walk into Mordor?
Yeah, Hulk can totally do just that.
-
Then Sauron mind-fries him, but he sure does make it to Mordor. :)

Well, of course you don't just walk into Mordor.
You super-jump there.

Hulk would just grind the One Ring to dust if he was feeling cranky.
-
I'd like to think he would get creative and pull Shelob's legs off one by one...

I don't think Hulk would be able to grind an enchanted ring to dust. It chipped Gimli's axe when he tried to cleave it.

So did I. :D

Sorry! :) It wont let me edit the main title...

And Gimli's axe hit's how much harder than Hulk again?

Agreed but it is said that the One Ring can only be destroyed in the fire of Mt Doom

Given the power levels of those involved in that universe at that time, yes.
I'm certain that if old Tulkas showed up on Middle Earth and decided to squoosh the Ring, being one of the Valar and massively more potent than anything Sauron has to offer, he wouldn't have a problem.
For that matter, anyone from fiction who surpasses Sauron's power should have, at the least, a shot at destroying the Ring. All depending on how much more power they have. Someone really close to Sauron in power, maybe they could, maybe they couldn't. Set the Destroyer (Creatures of Light and Darkness)? Annihilates it in passing.
