The Great Mephisto Halloween Costume Party 2020

This one takes the adage of walking a mile in someone else's shoes to a whole new level. Mephisto, feeling more merry than malefic, has invited your favorite character to the Halloween party to end all Halloween parties. All are welcome under one condition: attendees must dress up as another hero or villain. They can't come as themselves. To ensure compliance, Uatu and his consort Ulana, both of whom know everyone's secret identity, will be patrolling the festivities and properly turn violators into giant rotting pumpkins for the entire evening.

So let's hear it, folks. Who is your favorite character, and which hero or villain does he/she/it come dressed as? Feel free to reply as often as you like. I'm leaning towards Medusa dressing up as Daredevil, Ghost Rider arriving as Doctor Doom, or Monica Rambeau showing up and showing out as either the White Queen or Scarlet Witch. But who knows, maybe someone will suggest something really interesting...like Tony Stark dressing up as classic Storm. Anything goes!


PS: Not required, but if any of the artists that frequent this board are inspired by some of the posters' ideas, feel free to submit drawings, sketches, etc.

Mary Jane Watson goes as Red Sonja.

Ben Grimm goes as Conan.

Blue Marvel attends as Mr. Fantastic.

Pepper Potts goes as classic Marvel Girl.

Tony Stark does indeed show up as classic Storm, having lost a bet with Pepper on the matter.

Sue Storm, perhaps revealing a bit of a girl crush, shows up as Spectrum.

Prompting an instant poll of "Who wore it better?", Emma Frost, Clea, Power Princess, Storm, Sersi and Captain Marvel (Carol) all show up as Invisible Woman. Clearly the most popular costume of the night.

Tigra dresses up as Dagger.

Nightcrawler shows up as Venom.

Wonder Man appears as Cloak.

Adam Warlock takes his turn as Doctor Strange. He even runs off with Clea at the end of the night.

Scarlet Witch dresses up as Black Widow.

The Vision raises eyebrows as the Sub Mariner, complete with ankle wings that he makes out of excess mass grown from his own body. (Who knows, he could have that secret power.)

The Falcon dresses up as Gabriel Lan, the Air-Walker.

Frenzy attends the party as Doc Samson.

Steve Rogers shows up as the Golden Age Angel.

Moon Knight dresses up as Space Ghost.

The Hulk crashes the party as Silver Surfer. He shaves his head for the part and dons silver body paint, but it's the one of a kind, custom made silver Tesla carbon fiber surfboard that sells it.

The Molecule Man arrives as Peter Pan.

The Wasp (Janet) plays along as his Tinker Bell.
