Sorry, but I'm really not a fan of Michael Bay.
Unless you're interested in watching a Lobo movie that consists of 90 minutes of crap being blown up. In which case, he's the director for you!

Sounds like just the fit for Lobo. Anyone would else would give us 45 minutes of his home planet on why society turns us into monsters, etc.
I wouldn't even want to form even the slightest connection between DC and Michael Bay!
Yes because Lobo is the type of material someone like Bay likes.
No because Bay is a hack.
I guess it's "not sure" for me all over again.
Went with "not sure."
Lobo actually might be right in Bay's wheelhouse.
The question is.....does Bay realize that Lobo is a satire poking fun at the genre, or does he think its straight up?
If he gets that tongue-in-cheek almost self-aware humor......he might actually be the perfect guy to direct the movie.
Might work if we get self aware Bay from films like Bad Boys or Pain and Gain. Transformers Bay, yeah that would be terrible.
Yay. Both are about as deep as a teaspoon of water. It’s a perfect match.
So no one realizes that Lobo was intended to be a parody of “extreme” “badass” stupidity. Basically everything Michael Bay stands for.
Not a fan of Lobo, so I hope he doesn’t get a solo movie. That being said, he’s such a stupid character Bay would probably do great.
DCEU is in terrible shape. You need success stories all across the board. Critical success, fan love and financial success. It makes hardly any sense to put a film in the hands of Michael Bay now.

Not really that different from the average Lobo comic
a match made in heaven imo
Michael Bay on anything? Nay!

Lobo comics seem more self aware. There's less actual Rambo and more like Weird Al's UHF Rambo scene.
