Rumor has it (Grace Randolph, who I find personally trustworthy for insider news) that Black Widow and Mulan are being considered for "direct to own" digital release since Onward has done gangbusters. Personally I'd love to see them push a new direct digital new release each week to get all those captive butts to click that might not have ever gone to the theater. Heck I had no interest in going to Black Widow or Mulan before all this, but I'll grab if there is a rental option.
These will make a AMAZING Double Feature in theaters someday!

I dont buy that. BW stands to lose too much money if it did that. Disney is better off delaying it until the theaters are open
I can't get over the white Roberto. But I won't shade the movie and will watch it. When... it comes out...

Randolph is not a credible source.
Disney updated their release schedule, but no word on the Fox movies including New Mutants.
Artemis Fowl is going to Disney+, the rest have new dates. Mulan is now scheduled for July 24th. Late July/August is when most of the studios are expecting to be releasing movies again.

There are some theaters still open, including ones in Sweden so it's not just crazy little countries like Belarus, who are going to have to close due to lack of movies to show due to lack of a new releases. But I'm not sure Disney/Fox is going to be the first studio to put out new releases for those theaters.
Just make it a D+ exclusive atp...
No. It deserves a theater release.
Corona said no and that's final...
No. It deserves a theater release.

Corona said no and that's final...
If that were true all the cancelled movies would be going to streaming and there not so Corona "word" isn't final.:p
No. It deserves a theater release.

No. It deserves a theater release.
I agree. The movie is basically done. It was ready to go before the crisis hit. I hope that, whenever theaters are open again, it's one of the first movies released.
At this point it is better to release it on D+.
Nobody thought this could be delayed so much on the first place, it could be posible to keep delaying it more.

...THEY CAN'T! Disney is not allowed to do until 2022.
