Man, I cannot believe I didn't think of Dr. Light for Monica! She's a favorite of mine, too!
Well you got me on Grace Choi and Guy Gardner, though! :p
-
Since we're moving into the X-Teams, I'll do my all-time favorite: Peter David's X-Factor, DC Style!
Havok - Booster Gold (somewhat overlooked/disregarded hero with energy blasting capabilities)
Polaris - Magenta (troubled heroine with magnetic powers)
Wolfsbane - Jayna (teenaged character with powers to change into animal form)
Multiple Man - Duplicate Boy (younger hero capable of making copies of himself)
Strong Guy - Awkwardman (bulky strong character usually played for comedic effect put into more serious surroundings)
-
Damage Control
Mr. Bones- Head Director of Operations
Maxwell Lord-Public Relations
Metamorpho- Toxic Material containment, removal, confiscation lead operative.
Dr. Mid-Nite Beth Chapel Lead medical officer.
Sideways- Transportation and rescue.
Jimmy Olsen Media communications operative.
Oracle-Lead consultant.
Ryan Choi- consultant.
This team would be a DC version of Damage control but with more super powered operatives. I would like to have non-powered costumed operatives that sre active in certain cities that have a high probability of a super being battle happening.

^^^I’ve never done X-Factor. That was good!

New Metahumans (This was kinda hard)
Tomcat (Wolfsbane)
Hot Spot (Sunspot)
Bombshell (Cannonball)
Mirage (Moonstar)
Terra (Magma)
Jericho (Karma)
Amethyst (Magik)
Brainiac 5 (Cypher)
-
That’s pretty good!
I’ve used Tomcat for Wolfsbane before, too.
-
Doom Patrol with Hickman's X-Men concepts.

Time for another favorite team line-up from Marvel's past: the Ostrander Heroes for Hire line-up, DC style!
Luke Cage - Bobo Bennetti (super strong street-level tough guy who doesn't go in for fancy names or costumes)
Iron Fist - Bronze Tiger (outsider trained in the ways of martial arts...REALLY wanted to use Peter Cannon here but he's no longer DC property)
White Tiger - Pantha (both genetically altered to give cat-like powers and appearances)
Ant-Man - Bumblebee (insect-themed shrinking hero)
She-Hulk - Power Girl (fun-loving super-strong heroine)
Hercules - Atlas (super strong member with ties to Greek mythology)
Black Knight - The Shining Knight (sword-wielding hero with ties to medieval times)
Jim Hammond/Human Torch - Alan Scott (Golden Age hero with flame-centric powers and hasn't aged)
Thena - Mera (powerful ruler from hidden race of people)
-
Squadron Supreme
Before you think, "But isn't that the Justice League?" The Squadron is a dark reflection of the JLA. But before you think, "Isn't that just the Crime Syndicate? " Okay sure, but I'm building a team that's more about the actual Squadron members rather than just flip-flopping with the League, so...

Whoa! I like that a lot!
I think I'd have Luthor be Tony though. I've always thought of them as flip sides of the same coin.

Thanks. I did consider having Lex as the Tony stand in but I decided to go for someone less used in these types of teams.
