Yeah, when you actually rewatch CW and look at his scenes closely, it's actually not as impressive as people hype it up to be, sure he almost kills Bucky, but then we have things were he is put on a head lock by hawkeye, stopped by widow, AND he is the only person in terminator mode and does... About as well as everyone else who is fighting but not at all really going for the jugular. Where as his solo? Dude is putting in work.

My problem with CW is that Russos chopped it to bits. They nailed TWS but edited CW way too much.
(and I am nitpicking here. I like CW fight scenes and like the movie a lot. It isn't say... Gunn's GoG where the fight scenes were the worst part of the movie)
People like flashy.
I'm reminded of Bruce Lee, who had to slow down his moves when he filmed Green Hornet, because they didn't look as good on camera.
Heck, he had to be fancier than normal in his SCREEN TEST:

I dunno, man, when he jumped the border tribe shield, blasted them away while simultaneously picking up the spear and taking down the dragon flyer, that was pretty efficient and not overly flashy. Same with the case chase scene, it wasn't overly flashy it was to the point and wildly efficient while still looking cool
It is, even if the game is slightly above average in terms of quality.
Funny enough, some people on Twitter found a way to relate this to Boseman's death and I was just there scratching my head saying "Really?"
Because MCU stans are truly that stupid. Then again, these are the same people that think Florence Kasumba looks indistinguishable from Danai Gurira. Lmao.

As for the suits. Yeah it was a blessing and a curse, some really good durability feats, but the line was so dark it was hard to see and not as clean as it could of been. But at the same time I am not sure what would of been the way to disable them so they weren't a factor at all this making the fight extra brutal between enhanced humans
I will go as far as saying that scene with Black Widow stopping him was 150% trash. Those stings shouldn't have connected, due to BP combat speed, or his ability to anticipate what is definitively a slower moving opponent.
Yeah. T'Challa/BP fans have to be some of the unluckiest group of people in the entertainment fandom.
I was in a comic book store and heard two guys talking.. about who is Marvel going to hire to play Black Panther now. I guess they didn't get the memo.

He was put in a headlock by Hawkeye, and then Panther broke Clint's bow and put him down so hard he didn't get back up. Hell, we never saw Clint put T'Challa in a headlock, we just saw him breaking out of it.
He nearly killed Bucky as soon as they squared off, overpowering his cyborg arm, smacking him around and then nearly tearing out his throat before Wanda stopped him. Giant Ant-Man later ran inference.
As bad ass feats go, for a movie that wasn't his own, T'Challa did alright.

Y'all literally make yourselves upset for no reason. What does the Shang-Chi trailer have to do with this Black Panther Appreciation thread?
-
Have Shang and T'challa ever had a conversation?
Did they even talk in the Phoenix Event recently?

Fu Manchu tried to hook T'Challa and Shang Chi's sister up.
Maybe there's more but I can't remember.

oh shit that's right!
I need more sleep.

Didn't T'Challa tell Luke and Danny that Shang was the better fighter between him and Iron Fist?

Even if he didn't see them because he was so. Focused on getting Bucky, the habit shrugged off machine gun fire from a helicopter no problem, but widows little stingers not only did t get deflected but we're able to shock him? GTFO lol. But apparently this was the "Badass" Panther

Yet he never actually accomplished anything and he was on terminator mode, clint should of never been able to put him in a headlock given what we saw T'Challa do to Bucky both in and out of WS mode, and we saw what happened to non powered humans that went against Bucky in was mode. So clint should not of been able to even put T'Challa in a lock even of we did t see if, even if he immediately broke out he should ot of been able to pull it off at all. Normal humans are immensely outclassed. Sure he did better than the other Black heros in comparison but he didn't actually accomplished anything what so ever in the fight

You are correct, but Daniel Rand was not there during that statement.
