Give me Cassie as Stature please. That's all this film needs to do.

This doesn't make any sense. I was told by a member of this very forum that this series was "canceled," ( you know, since they didn't announce it along with the other films this summer.)

Marvel just announced they're putting out 4 movies per year so it makes sense that they're getting ready for this one
I guess Marvel Studio is happy with Peyton Reed because they always hire a new director to do the unexpected thing in the third movie of a franchise when they feel it doesn't have a distinctive identity.
If someone had told me 20 years ago that Ant-Man, Ant. Man. would get a trilogy of high quality movies from Marvel, i’ have thought they were nuts.
I’m glad they wouldn’t have been nuts. So happy!

Say what you want about the Ant-Man films, but I DO think they have a distinct identity. They have a different feel than a lot of the other marvel movies... it doesn't feel like a generic super hero film.
Obviously they weren't the most criticially or commerially sucessful MCU movies, but they got the job done.

They had problems with directors during phase 2. Problems that were fixed by phase 3.

I think the Committee was an issue Gunn said he was happy to have them gone when doing GOTG Vol.2 during Guardians 2014 they didn't want him to do the Awesome Mix tape because they were against paying for the music which sounds like a note they probably got from Perlmutter.

Yeah, they have a, to me, fun feel, w. a supporting cast (his civilian buddies, his mentor, his mentor’s daughter, her mom, his own ex-wife and daughter and the new man in their life, another scientist who was the first to go ‘big’...) for the main character that’s deeper than pretty much any other MCU character right now.

It's nice to see it finally confirmed, and that Reed gets to close out an Ant-Man trilogy .
Give me Cassie as Stature please. That's all this film needs to do.
I think that's pretty likely going to happen.
I wonder if we'll see Eric O'Grady pop up.
I hope we get more Hank and Jan. And Bill :).
How is this a movie? We were told by people here that in spite of making back its budget, having a low budget for a superhero movie and making a profit. And all of Marvel movies except Hulk getting trilogies that Antman was canceled because they didn't announce it with the other Marvel movies. If I can't trust the experts here on forums to get their wild baseless speculation right who can I trust?
This's my new "most anticipated new Marvel movie."

Most anticipated movie. Wow! I guess I'm in the minority with this franchise but thank god for disney+ because I can never see this movie compelling me to go to the theater with Peyton Reed directing ever again. I found both movies underwhelming.
So, what will the third movie be called?
-- Ant-Man III: Ant-Man and the Wasp 2
-- Ant-Man Loves the Wasp
-- I love you, Ant-Man (co-starring Jason Segal as Grizzly)
-- Big Y Smalls (with The Hulk - they made such a great duo in that Coke commercial - and hey, another science guy!)
-- Ant-Man's in Your Pants, Man
-- Nothing Rhymes with Wasp

Ant-Man and Stature?
Wasnt the rumors it was gonna be Antman and the agents of Atlas?
Wasnt the rumors it was gonna be Antman and the agents of Atlas?
Sounds like wishful thinking. Jimmy Woo being in the second movie don't mean we gonna get the Agents of Atlas.
A back door Agents of Atlas would be great though, Gorilla Man would be excellent on screen.
Given Hawkeye having Kate, the Ms. Marvel Series, and now teenaged Cassie if Ant-Man 3 is used as a back door for anything IMO it'd be Young Avengers.

I'd be okay with either

Yeah, and Woo is showing up in WandaVision.
A back door Agents of Atlas would be great though, Gorilla Man would be excellent on screen.
It would. I mean, Marvel made Guardians of the Galaxy work, they could do the same for Agents of Atlas.
It would. I mean, Marvel made Guardians of the Galaxy work, they could do the same for Agents of Atlas.
It's definitely a dream of mine, Atlas was one of my favorite books and it's a concept that would make for a great post-endgame film
The films are fun, but I wonder where they go next with the characters.
Antman and the Wasp, and Avengers Endgame really closed off all the loose ends.

They haven't. The Pyms haven't cured Ghost of her condition. Endgame sure as hell didn't tie up that loose end. Carson taking a vital of the pym particles in the first movie hasn't been followed up on.

Did someone say Black Ant ;)?
Plus Scott and the Pym's still have a lot of the Quantum Realm to explore.

I'm still curious how Janet survived there for 20 years and aged.

Ghost still has her condition, but that's not really a story engine for a new film. I was mainly referring to the stories of the main characters, rather than minor villains who could just as easily pop up in the Hawkeye show.
The first film set up seeds for a sequel with a costume for Hope, and the mystery of the original Wasp. The second had the character beat of how Hope could fit with the other Marvel heroes.
There's places for the next Antman film to go, but it would largely be about new concepts. It's a film that would have to be necessary on its own merits, rather than carrying over an earlier plot.
Marvel is bringing back the same director to helm the 3rd movie. Edgar Wright's movie would have been so much better than the two mediocrity that was released. Antman and the Wasp was one of the first Marvel films I've ever skipped. I wasn't impressed with Antman and apparently the sequel was weaker. I love Paul Rudd though. Feels like they should have chosen a new director by now.
LOLOL...people were jumping around saying this was cancelled...;)

"Stop calling them Pimp Particles, Luis!"

There's Scott dealing with Cassie being an older teenager now. Considering they're likely to make her Stature, I imagine that will make the bulk of the movie's emotional core.
Ant-Man 3: The Rise of A.I.M
Ant-Man 3: M.O.D.O.K
Ant-Man & the Wasp: HIVE World

I can see the third film focusing on Cassie and her hero's journey. Legacy has been a running theme in both Ant-Man movies. I can see Cassie eagerly wanting to follow Scott.
Not a fan of baby driver?
unfortunately no unless we're talking about the soundtrack.
"Are Those Pym Particles In Your Pocket Or Are You Just Happy To See Me?"
Nah, too long.
Seriously, whoever is the villain should affect the title IMO. "Ant-Man & the Wasp Vs ____"

Honestly, we just got The Wasp - I'd want more time with her than focusing on someone else already.
