On the Age of X-Man side of things, still no art previews for NextGen but we are seeing some world building from Zac and Lonnie:
Marvel.com: How will the students of the Summers Institute prepare to carry the torch in a time of peace?
Zac Thompson: The students in this world are sent to the Summers Institute, a boarding school in AoXM, where they must pick a major and define a career path as a working mutant in society. Some will go on to graduate and become X-Men, while others strive to be doctors, police, or farmers.
Lonnie Nadler: The students play a vital role here because they are the future. The students are the people past generations sacrificed their lives for in order to give them a chance at a better world. But oftentimes, it’s hard for the students to respect the past, and vice versa.
Could either go terribly wrong or alright.
-
Well forcing the students to pick majors and get jobs after graduation to be productive mutant members of society is good start.
Helps save the kids from just bumming around the institute until the next time it blows up. Maybe the kids can finally escape high school

Let Glob do birthday parties!

Crosta and Loa should open a sushi restaurant. He can catch the fish and she can shred them into sashimi
Near as I can tell, Anole has color changing skin - he's like a chameleon.
So he probably couldn't steal the thing from the fridge without the camera's seeing him move.
It's actually more reasonable for him to just cover himself like he did - it doesn't hide THAT someone stole it, but does make it harder to tell who.
He camouflages his clothes though.

And his camouflage hides his scent too.

Really? I did not know this.
I remember him giving off a heat signature that sentinels on Mumbai picked up. But the scentless thing is news to me

Aren't his "clothes" made of unstable molecules ?

His X-uniform maybe but he's cloaked his street clothes too.

Then I don't know how his powers work :(

That's ok, neither does Marvel.

Escaping the school only means two possibilities: death or limbo.
Anyway, ugh, another stupid alt-reality crapfest.

Is that Loa’s body covered in blood in the Uncanny preview?
Makes me less excited if Rosenberg has ‘plans’ for Wind Dancer.
-
Killing off a WOC with so much story potential sounds like it would be in line with Rosenberg’s (or Brisson if he was writing) tone deaf writing but it seems so random to kill her off. And I agree about the ‘Wind Dancer’ plans; I’d take limbo/background cameo status over needless death any day.

I just re-read the Academy X House of M issues as I've come up to HoM chronologically and it's a really fantastic arc. I love how even with the new reality it keeps plot points like Sofia's and Laurie's tension post-prom going, and the ending sacrifice gave me goosebumps.
Laurie's "inversion", with her disdain for her Sapien mother for attempting to keep her away from her father, is so terrifying, and Sooraya and Jubilee as the "shallow twins" is amazing fun - until Laurie's pheromones reveal some underlying tension from Sooraya and Jubilee's subsequent pleas for them to stop fighting echoes Cessily's reluctance to kill Laurie, her HoM best friend. And man, Elixir and Wither too - this is such a good exploration of how easily their powers can be abused, similar to David's worst fears future vision arc. Great art from Lopresti too.
