If I'm recalling Starling's initial appearances in Miles Morales: Spider-Man correctly, he went and walked out on her and her mother.

Exactly, but as far as we know he's still alive.

Yeah, there's always room for him to show up again.

Same as her aunt Valeria.

True enough. Would be interesting to see her again, too.
Power Pack contradicted Champions. [spoil]The team gets caught by CRADLE on the same night that Kamala's Law came into effect. So why were only Jack and Katie at the meeting in Champions #1, and not all four Powers? Champions can't be first, else the two younger Powers would've already known about the law, and they would've probably avoided going out.
This does at least confirm that Outlawed is after Empyre, because Alex and Julie returned in a post-Empyre issue of Fantastic Four.[/spoil]

[spoil]I assume Power Pack is a prequel to Champions #1 and this is their first brush with CRADLE before Jack and Katie ends up at the Champions meeting. Alex and Julie could be busy with other stuff (assuming they aren't in custody at the end of the mini, I guess).
Also probably the most flattering depiction of CRADLE where they actually manage to subdue the big Supervillain that the young heroes were fighting...while also planning to arrest said young heroes.[/spoil]
I just checked AIPT expecting to find one or two exclusive previews, and they have ALL of the previews for next week's comics, including Champions #3.

Also, a brainwashed Totally Awesome Hulk in Atlantis Attacks #5.

And Miles Morales: Spider-Man #21.

So...brainwashing? Re-conditioning?
Well, whatever it is, Locust and Starling seem to be inciting a riot!

Good for them, I hope. Though seeing Lana broken like that . . . C.R.A.D.L.E. is really messed up for this.
Okay if it's brainwashing, who's the main bad?
I swear if it's Mephisto...

If it is brainwashing it would also potentially explain why New Warriors are marching lock-step with Cradle.

The senator?

This would be a good way of having the New Warriors save face for their involvement in this event. I wonder if that's how their mini would've concluded, with the new members freeing them from the brainwashing.
