I mean when you keep trying to turn her into Xena or Red Sonja instead of writing Wonder Woman... Maybe all the shake-ups will get the right people in charge of Diana again.
Now would be the perfect opportunity to change that. DC can let Yara Flor be the sword-and-shield-wielding warrior woman so that Diana can become a diplomat for peace once more.
In this case, there is no attraction. You're seeing things that aren't there and basing your claim on an overused trope in fiction.
I'm sorry, but you can't tell me what subjective subtext to take from the stories I read.

Sure, but if you squeeze any piece of media your going to find examples of bad behavior. I mean the entire superhero genre is founded on the basis of extrajudicial violence.

No. She is doing a self insert character in I’m not Starfire

Something people have also been calling out.

You weren't treating it as "subjective subtext".

1) Plenty of writers use self-inserts and it isn't inherently bad. Ben Grimm is basically Jack Kirby with rocky skin.
2) Mandy looks nothing like Tamaki aside from a vaguely-similar haircut.
3) What does this have to do with her WW run?

How did I never put that together? My head must be harder than Grimm's.

If it makes you feel better, I didn't realize it until someone pointed it out to me.

Man I haven’t been feeling Tamaki’s WW run on the main book, but her Diana story in this week’s Death Metal tie in was great. Great voice for Diana there.
