Maker X gave Nate the life seed?lol

In all seriousness, that actually makes a bit of sense...
Xavier gets a Life Seed and wants to do something, but he can't do it, so he needs a fall guy...Nate.

Maybe he orchestrated everything so that the X-Men could not be active while he made his plan. Age of X-man and the vaccine would be a perfect distraction, no one can worry about what Xavier is doing.

And he comes back to a team that is either completely in total disarray and traumatized after AoX or completely pumped up after several good victories and a death.
He can also make anole stole the vaccine then.
-
And then Onslaught happens because Marvel seems to be having an amalgam fetish lately with Infinity Warps.
-
He can also make anole stole the vaccine.
Wow, this actually makes sense and gives Anole a bit of a break. Joy!
It even starts to make sense. We thought that Age of X-man and Uncanny X-Men were filler until House of X so that in the end they were AUTHENTICALLY a distraction until House of M.
Good job, X-Office.
Looking at everything, plus that annual a few months back, it would shock me if Xavier wasn't behind all of this.
-
Nah, Xavier no longer needs the influence of Magneto to be evil.

I mean, Xavier has sort of been the "villain" of X-Men for a while now. It's more normal for him not to be around than for us to have a deep relationship with him, which is probably what makes this so tempting for Hickman.
-
I actually thought Hickman was gonna reinstate him as the leader. But "Maker X" is giving me other ideas.
Huh,Can we call him "Maker X" from now on?
Cheers. Maker X it is.
-
My interest is most certainly piqued.
-
I'd actually prefer if this was The Maker and nothing to do with Xavier.
Some characters are just played out and have nothing left to bring to the table. He's one of them.
-
Whose dying for shock value in this event ?

Hickman’s editor.

What would an EEEvil alt universe Reed Richards have to bring to the table that the father of the X-Men wouldn't in a pivotal story about the X-Men?
I don't even really care for Xavier myself, but c'mon...
-
Jean is a hard one. She doesn't really have a great iconic costume aside from her Phoenix costume, both green and red versions.
That Marvel Girl costume is so old and uninteresting.
I prefer the green or red Phoenix costume which is the best for her.

It could be the Maker pretending to be Xavier. It is just really weird that if that is Xavier, he looks exactly like the Maker, a character Hickman himself helped to make famous and who he has some real love for.

Totally, there's no question that the Phoenix costumes are best. They're elegant, adaptable to nearly any art style, and they actually look like something an adult woman would wear.
They have stood the test of time.

That house of X cover is beautiful.
