It appeared that it was time for the next step of this gathering quest, which would cut down the amount of those whom he could interrogate. Suppressing his true nature, scales melted back into pale human flesh, save for patches beneath the boy's clothing. It was beneath the Strongest to have to hide his presence amongst weaklings, but he had not the patience to put up with their prattlings, at least, not without eating one of them.
"What awaits us on the other side?" He, or rather, "Charco" said as he approached the quickly gathering ensemble.

Karine and Aleka had arrived on the gathering group of who was going to go, though the younger woman had a pensive air about her. When Aleka asked about it, she really didn't get much of anything so was fine with letting it drop for now.
"Since I'm more then a bit out of the loop, what should we watch out for in this time line?" Karine asked the time deity. Knowledge was power, especially in cases like these.

"If we're lucky, it'll be the timeline where the trees are made of gold, and the water tastes like wine." Held replied between a bite of his apple, "But then again, given how these things play out, I suppose I should settle for a decayed world that isn't made of rotting posion or what have you."

"Sasheem wasn't even around for the other missions," he shrugged. "He was too busy cleaning up the humans' cities for 'em. Maybe if you or your sister ask nicely, Sasheem will clean up those Saiyan worlds as well," the Majin smirked.
There was no denying how excited Sarada was, when she began to explain how she'd become a Super Saiyan.
And despite her mood, the surge of positive emotions across their shared connection was enough to turn up the corners of Ishtar's mouth. It was after all a wonderful thing, the sharing in the happiness of one you cared for. Though to say the words she used to express what happened were a hurried jumble was perhaps an understatement. The golden-eyed Oni needed to actually focus intently to piece together what was being said.
Which itself seemed to be ... unsurprisingly perhaps, that she'd done so as the result of a fight.
Not just any fight it seemed, however. In a similar fashion to what Asha'rah had done -- managed with far less stupidity, at the least -- this alternate version of Totoma had forced a scenario where Sarada had to imagine the death of everyone she loved, and cared for ... sufficient motivation by any measure. So it was that in thee feelings of failure to prevent that, that her Little Love had found the means to clear that final hurdle; and do what no more than a handful of other Saiyans had managed prior: attain the Super Saiyan Form. Though it seemed she realized quickly, that the legends hardly matched the reality. At least when it came to the increase in power, though it seemed the hair color, and eye color that Vocado himself had displayed during the visit in the White-Gold Room was a shared trait of the transformation. A thing to keep in mind for later, perhaps ...
For now however, congratulations were in order.
Turning so that she could look her lover fully in the face then, Ishtar offered Sarada a small smile and a soft kiss. "How absolutely wonderful ... I am so very, very proud of you; and more than a little aroused, admittedly." Taking several moments to hold Sarada close, and simply find comfort in her happiness and warmth; it was then that the golden-eyed Oni eventually worked her way around to answering the questions Sarada had ended her recounting on.
"I do not feel much different, no. Though since it was unsealed, I have not attempted to utilize it ... the Hakai. As for being 'stronger' ... I am not sure. What do you feel ?"
Sarada beamed at the congratulations and leaned into the kiss. "Thanks," she said, the single word somehow radiating with all the excitement she was feeling inside. "I can hardly wait to start training so I can get stronger."
Maiz was going to flip her lid when she saw that Sarada that finally transformed. She couldn't wait to see the proud look on her face. ...She couldn't wait to see her period. It had been over a week since she had been home, and slightly longer since she had seen anyone for longer than a few minutes. Maybe I'll head home before the final mission and brief everyone on what's been going on so far. I would just stay, but they'll need me to fight Ishtar's alternate.
Briefing, and taking a nap. It was going to feel so good sleeping in her own bed again. Well, sleeping period, honestly.
"As for you... you definitely feel stronger. And you feel more harmonized, if that makes any sense. Of course, there's only one way to find out for sure how strong you've gotten."
"Sasheem wasn't even around for the other missions," he shrugged. "He was too busy cleaning up the humans' cities for 'em. Maybe if you or your sister ask nicely, Sasheem will clean up those Saiyan worlds as well," the Majin smirked.
Parsley wasted no time in rejecting him. "I'll speak for you and say no. Though, I will admit that it's a fine change that you've made in yourself. I suppose finally realizing how pitiful you are at a Destroyer left no other options other than Savior. Lucky for this planet, I would say."

He snorted in amusement, "I doubt it will be that easy... it never is."
Pike nodded, but then gestures to a small sack he was carrying.

Standing face to face with the wizard, Ochazuke surveyed him with narrowing eyes. Along with Koolard, he was one of the last left standing at the battle of Capital City. Though the Armada of the First Race may have entered Earth's atmosphere across Time, it was Pike who spread them across the planet's surface. From a single point, with a gesture he could go anywhere in an instant.
How ironic that the Doctor had shackled him so.
Yet the difference between him and the elemental Pyrus was in the additional matter he carried with him. Where one Earth's champion simply sought to return home, there was some matter the Wizard held yet unspoken.
"If you could strike back at the Doctor, I imagine you would have," he said. It would be easy enough to cross the space, if Pike could have returned; even simpler to escape if his method could avail him.
Yet only now was he able to move freely.
"He promised you spells for a reason, I suppose soon enough we shall see why," he shrugged. "But let me be clear. You're not guiding swarms of artificial drones today."
Like the others, he supposed the Namekian Wizard would fight for his way home, no matter the cost. Still, Ochazuke tilt his head to the side in a soft gesture to those gathered near the portal.
The cold-blooded stirring within Charco was a subtle turn that did not go unnoticed. A slither within his ki, unseen, always watching. Ochazuke ventured another step nearer. Standing now to Charco's side, the paper calling for succession lay before them, edges fraying in the cold air of the chamber.
"I imagine it takes a great deal of strength to gnaw on carrion so persistently," he said "To suck dry memory to the marrows."
Spoken aloud, the disdain was evident. As Ochazuke came closer, the atmosphere appeared much same as it had been nearly eighty years past; fallen under four other pairs of watchful eyes.
The difference between then and now was plain. At this moment there were as of yet two who might choose to listen. Setting yourself upon that fearful path will be your death.
"Nothing less than glorious, the discarded laurels of the fallen." A familiar stern gaze narrowed where he looked down upon the young man. "Yet you've never shied away from confrontation. No matter the cost, heedless of the outcome."
That was the point of the martial discipline, to become more than you were yesterday. But standing before the summit of great forbearers, even the smallest figment cast a long shadow. To see a thing for what it truly was, that was a difficult thing.
"You said it yourself, she did not know. You do. So tell me, what are you afraid of, Charco?"
"It's because I do know," He answered, "A second pair of eyes endlessly watching me, waiting for the moment I show an ounce of weakness before seizing control. Each time, I can feel my sense of self disappearing."
At first, the spirit required his permission... or maybe that was to lull him into a false sense of security, to make him believe that Rex was his ally.
"I was taught how to be strong in mind and body, but I never thought I would have to fight for my soul."
Regaining control upon the end of their battle with Luop and Koolard had left him a broken mess, briefly untethered to reality as the erosion of his spirit had left him with an unfathomable feeling of hollowness that had frightened him.
"...It's a scary feeling, but I can't sit back and let it consume me. That is why I want to pick up where Penhuoqi left off."
Perhaps the boy was being desperate, having only recently swept up the broken pieces of his former dream and now faced with the very real possibility that his soul could be corrupted, but he knew just how powerful could be when fighting for a cause, any cause.
After some debate, Dash and Cyanna decided to use Rock-Paper-Scissors to choose the next traveler. And of course Cyanna wins the matchup.
Taking her place among those gathered by the portal, she smiles and waves to the others before getting ready to step through.

Cyanna, that was the girl that Charco seemed to hold some affection for.
Mammalians and their romantic drivel.
Throughout his existence, he has faced countless "heroes" and each time, he has crushed them and seen them driven before him while to the requiem that was the lamentation of their women. After that, their partners would either find another mate or seek to quench their futile vengeance, only to meet the same fate. He could only wonder how satisfying to see Charco broken if something were to happen...
...yet he knew that it would be unwise to anger the boy, or at least, not right now.
" I'm going too, and this shouldn't take long not counting any possible unknown variables that might just randomly pop up ," Praxat said.
Althena who's skin has turn back to it's usual Platinum color after thinking about how much she misses her children . Gets into the Vear stance and focus directly on Praxat , " Praxat before you go there's something I want to show you it's how to throw a proper punch in Mahtoesa Hetto no Hwe-Atkam!" Althena said.
" Sensei Althena I already know how to throw a punch, and there's really not much to it, Aoem is just like any other fighting style right? There's only so many ways you can throw a punch," Praxat said.
"Just watch and learn I will show you how to strike properly in Aoem ." Althena does a normal punch , " This is how you currently throw a punch. It's not bad not bad per se but you can get more force and speed from your punches if you did this!" Althena said.
Althena reels her arm back and then compresses it like a spring to the point where it looks like it's collapsing in on itself. Althena then snaps her arm forward and it comes out like a rocket. Delivering a punch that is much greater in force and speed than her previous strike creating a wind tunnel like effect with a shockwave," That is how you properly throw a punch in Aoem, Praxat," Althena said.
" the initial start up seems kind of slow, " Praxat said.
" It's not slow at all, I just slowed the first part down so that you could see exactly how it's done. This way of striking including the first part is actually quite a lot faster and more powerful than how you normally strike Praxat," Althena said.
" Okay so I'll have to do is this right?" Praxat said as she pulls back her right arm and does what Althena did. Then launches her right arm like a rocket and is shock by the speed and force of her punch, " Wow I never throw a punch with that much force and speed with out Ki before . **** I didn't even know I could do that , Still the initial setup is kind of slow.
" It is only slow because you aren't used to throwing a punch that way . The more you practice on it , The faster the wind up will be to the point where it will look like you are just throwing a standard punch . Meagan I'm staying here and I think you should too , Since you are with child. Also when you child is born I will be glad to sing that lullaby you previously heard me singing to them," Althena said.

Nothing comes without sacrifice; those who walked the martial path knew that with a particular intimacy. Yet no matter what strides made, crossing one plateau made one all too aware of the limitations, the myriad frailties inherent to humanity seemed to pronounce themselves time and again.
Among their present company, certainly, for power did not come for them as a matter of course, or some latent epiphany to consider. Even before it could be written, men saw in slavering jaws and spread wings a simultaneous fear and envy, loathing at the set distance between humanity and the inherent plateau of the wild. So aware of these of weakness, there would be no telling what the fear of vulnerability would drive one to exchange for power.
"Power, technique, even form, without the quality of character to express it, it is all mere imitation." Standing beside the young man, he looked down upon the old, fraying image upon the desktop. "Yet it is the hope that through the body and mind one might cultivate the spirit."
But the price for understanding is thorough examination. That is possible only through constant vigilance. To gain a measure of power is a much more tangible matter, and to some it is only the end result that matters.
"You already know well what it means to fight for your soul," Ochazuke said, "Standing before Simon Battersea, exposed to the fullness of his living death, you made both him and the demon Banefire retreat. Not your master. And certainly not this parasite."
Even faced with this trial within, even haven spoken to his fear, as ever the boy's stubborn willfulness stood firm. So that's what this is about. You wanted to rebuild. Despite this grim matter, he'd begun to understand his fear. If that is the matter you wished to stake your very life upon...
"That is something that cannot be snuffed out. To find your way, that alone is something worth fighting for." Ochazuke rest a firm, heavy hand upon his shoulder. "The difference between then and now is that Penhuoqi stood alone."
Pike nods.

As good as his word, Ochazuke shadowed him as they entered the divergence. No longer an alternate Earth, but another planet entirely, there was some comfort to be had in that the alienation would likely remain singular. No uncanny matters pronounced in their many differences as they would from his homeworld. It left him to his task, then, of monitoring the situation as they escort their temporary guest home.
To reach that which you desire most, what would you be willing to do? If the Guardian Evangeline's graces saw him as worthy of her charity, perhaps like the other forceful recruits to the Doctor's ranks, Pike's talents had merely been twist from their nature into a horrid weapon, honed and made lethal by desperation.
Passing through the rift in time-space, when it settled, he reached out with Kyokushin Keihatsu, establishing his meditational field of sense-awareness immediately passing through his local company and weaving gradually through the environment.
" Even though it's just a prototype. This Quantum Ambient Toxin Collector that Qaztoh made for me should come in handy. As it should allow me to use my poison generation more efficiently. To bad Dash isn't going because I really want to try out a water and electricity combo move I thought of with her called Electro-Hurricane ," Praxat said as she walks through the open door. Praxat walks though the environment and tunes her hearing to focus on infrasonic frequencies , " So this is Namek huh, well at lest a alternate Namek , and it kind of reminds me of home expect less swampy," Praxat said.

Ishtar flashed another smile, when Sarada expressed again her excitement and desire for training; before easing back into the tub to consider her latter comment.
... there's only one way to find out for sure how strong you've gotten.
Which was true enough.
Though at the same time, her 'change' had happened only a few short moments before the arrival of Glacia, and if the measure was combat, it had not gone well. A hole punched in my side, a deep gash across my back ... Whatever power she had recovered from having her Hakai -- and by extension her Ki, as intertwined as the two were -- returned; seemed not to influence much.
... Of course, she had not used it.
So with a sigh, Ishtar responded. "I suppose so. Yet I am not liable to find it out anytime soon as it is not as if I can simply test it ... too dangerous now, I should think." Which made this more of a slap in the face, really. As now that the Hakai was free, there was no knowing truly how it would react, or change, what she'd managed to learn up til this point without -- as far as her utilizing the full extent of it, consciously -- Hakai.
"Setting all of my issues aside for now, however ..." Ishtar said then, pressing up against Sarada. "I still have you at least. Which makes everything else seem less bleak, and more bearable."
Stepping through the door to see the active room once more, Zaofan lets his presence known. "Hello friends. My apologies for the absence but, where would you need me?"

Highly tuned senses allowed him to take heed that something, someone was observing him. Past the parting of the veil between space-time, Ochazuke braced himself for all manner of strange things beyond the portal. Yet poised to stand against the rigours of the harsh unknown, the whispering breeze slipped through his guard entirely.
Stretching end to end, the rolling sea reflected a verdant sky above, the sight dotted by islands. A dull, golden light seemed to glow from all sides at once, as if the planet ceased to turn from its sun, suspended in its own section of time.
As Pike's formidable stature knelt in relief, Ochazuke stood nearby, heels sunk in the spongy blue-green turf beneath a tree's stem-shaped shadow.
"Go, then. Don't keep them waiting. I'll follow shortly."

Planet Namek was a gentle place. Calming. Serene.
Pike laughs softly, kneels down, and drops his head down, offering a prayer of thanks.
“I’m home. Finally home.”
He raises into the air and gestures for them to follow, aiming towards a large village near by.
Stepping through the portal, Cyanna went slightly wide eyed at the sight. The planet was quite beautiful and she wondered if a planet like this existed in her timeline. She walked towards Pike, and as she did she listened carefully to the word around her as well as to the others in her group. There were so many questions she wanted to ask, but she held off, waiting for the right time.
Taking flight, she follows their host to his village. She was actually glad that this was going to be a peaceful trip.
Whether it was a year from now or somewhere further down the line, so long as Sarada got to test herself and her power against Ishtar's Hakai, then she was more than happy to wait. Besides, she figured they be busy raising their family and mopping up the gods' mistakes; not to mention Sarada's own duties as Saiyan Queen. Their plates were going to be more than full for a long time to come.
In a way, she was looking forward to it. This wasn't the kind of challenge Saiyans sought when they were bored or trying to test themselves, but it was a challenge nonetheless. Politics was just a new battlefield ripe for the conquering. She couldn't wait.
When Ishtar pressed herself against her, Sarada wrapped her arms around her torso and held her close. "You'll always have me, love. I'm not going anywhere." She kissed the side of her neck and closed her eyes. The next mission would likely be starting soon, but it didn't sound very exciting, so she was more than happy to sit this one out.

It had been some time since he had looked upon a landscape as peaceful as Namek. It reminded him of Earth, long ago, before humanity's technology had overtaken nature, no... even longer. He was reminded of those days when he was a mere hatchling, eyes unclouded by hate, bloodshed or ambition. For a moment, he fell into its trap, contemplating such foolish things.
"...peace never lasts, not while there is life." He bitterly said to himself as the others followed their Namekian guide. Eventually, conflict would find its way to this world; the question was, would those who enjoyed this peace have the strength not to be trampled underfoot. He had his doubts.
Lifting off the ground, he eventually headed toward the nearby village.
Some time later, Sarada climbed out of the tub and dried herself off. Her armor wasn't ready yet, so she changed into a pair of shorts and a tank top and walked outside.
Looks like the others have already started the next mission. With hope, they'd be finished quickly and move on to the next mission. That one sounded like it was literally a walk in the park, so it should have only taken a few minutes at most. The more quickly they finished with the easy stuff, the more quickly they could get to the main course, Alt-Ishtar.
Sarada could still hardly wait to see what this Goddess of Ruination was all about. More specifically, she couldn't wait to see how SSJ held up in an all-important battle. Ah, that reminds me. She scanned the crowd and thankfully found that Parsley was still there. "Hey," she called out. "I need to talk to you. I learned something pretty important about Super Saiyan during one of my fights and I need to tell you and Totoma."
Parsley's interest was piqued. "You learned something, hm? From Totoma's alternate, I assume?"
"That's right. Where is he, anyway?"
"Last I saw him, he was in the kitchen."
Hearing that reminded Sarada that she was hungry. She wasn't sure how she had forgotten, but that was neither here nor there. "Great, I can deal with two problems at once." Together, they left the Plaza and walked inside. "Hey, Totoma, you in here? I have info on Super Saiyan you need to hear," she said the moment she walked inside the kitchen.

Ultimately between the two, Aleka had decided to go while Karine had opted to stay behind to catch up on things which made sense.
Namek had a different look and atmosphere to it Aleka had noticed, but of course this was a different, alternate version of it. The last time she had visited Namek was some time back in a attempt to revive her family but she had otherwise hadn't been back or bothered going since. If it wasn't for the importance of what she felt was going on she probably would of just stayed behind for the time being while the others had left.

I wonder how different Namekians are here then back home..?
"Incredible...!" Zaofan exclaims right after passing through the gateway. Such sights should be old business to him by now but with his curiosity always getting the best of him, he can't help but take in a deep breath of the rich, foreign air. "Of all the worlds these adventures have taken me to, there's something so ... fresh... about being some place else!"
Zaofan takes a leisurely hover while following Pike. "I could see why you like it here. It'd be nice to retire on this world one day. Tell me, what's the food like here?"
It was the chief, Zaofan was his name if she recalled he seemed a decent enough guy on first impression. "If its anything like back at home, Namekians don't actually eat just drink. It might be different here though."

" I heard from Qaztoh that the Namekians make fantastic beverages. Really don't know if that's true or not? Anyways I'm listening for certain infrasound frequencies to check for suspicious activity. I will let you all know if I detect anything suspicious," Praxat said as she dives head first into a body of water.
Praxat starts swimming in the water towards the village , Wow this water is really refreshing, plus I can move a lot faster in water ," Praxat said.
Meanwhile back on the Lookout Althena turns towards Meagan , " Meagan I have plenty of more lullabies than just that one I sang earlier , would you like to hear one of them?" Althena said.

Cyanna pauses in mid-flight, having heard Praxat's voice she looks around but doesn't see her. "Hey, Praxat! Where are you?" she then looks down to see a body of water below. Flying down closer, "You look like you're having fun, but don't you think flying would be faster? We don't want to get left behind."

Having seen off Cyanna, Meagan is brought out of her distraction by Althena's voice. Giving her a grateful smile, "Thank you, I do enjoy your songs, however there is work I need to take care of. I apologize for not responding earlier, I have a lot on my mind right now."
Namek, to those sensing it out, is at peace. There doesn’t seem to be any danger pinging on senses or awareness. In fact, it’s arguably the most....non-hostile place they’ve senses before.
To those who can sense magic, this Namek thrums with it more so than their version does. To those who can see and sense even deeper, the planet’s population seems to be at about 50,000,000 strong in smallish communities dotted all over the planet. There are about ten or twelve high power levels between 100,000 and 1,000,000. The rest are on average about 10,000 or so.
Pike touches down in the small village and calls out, and almost immediately two people run out and hug him. A male and, startlingly, female Namekian. The two laugh and converse with Pike in Namekian, tears of happiness in their eyes. More people come out to greet and cheer at Pike’s return.

Aleka hadn't noticed Cyanna was there at first before she came up behind them. "Worse comes to worse, sure there is something that might catch his interest." Maybe. She really didn't know the young man enough to know what other interest he might of had besides cooking but even with her limited exposure cooking was definitely a passion for them to be sure. "Your name is.." Aleka trailed off. "Sorry I don't remember your name. Mine is Aleka."
Or she was told and didn't remember.
The comment from Praxat made her pause, she had never once heard of Namekians being known for their beverages. Didn't they just drink water mainly? Plus this was a alternate universe so who was to say that was true? The waters were normally safe but who knows if these ones were? Then again Pike hadn't said anything where water was literally about everywhere when they first got off and the giant Toadian wasn't exactly screaming from from type of flesh eating substance or something.
Ochazuke seemed to be in the midst of something concentration wise so she held off briefly from broaching a conversation. It was easier now that she had a name to go to the face.

From what Aleka could sense, it was about what she expected from Namek from back at home with small villages and communities dotted about. There didn't seem to be any notable power levels, though back at home the warrior class wasn't as common or as strong. There were some that were decently strong thinking back on it but those had been in the minority.
What surprised the Acorian the most? Female Namekians.
A lot more different then I was expecting. So it means the reproduce like most races do instead of the eggs but I wonder if it means they eat or anything else?
A curious question that could wait a bit for now as the scene unfolded on them, bringing a slight smile to Aleka's face. Scenes like this she was sure she'd almost never get tired of as she had a new found appreciation of it she didn't ever have before. "These your family Pike?" She asked politely after a moment to let them get semi situated instead of just bursting into the touching moment at the start.
Before Pike touches down, he tells Zaofan that the food here is mostly fruits and vegetables. No meats, not much breads.
