Batman can walk on water. With enough preparation.
Yeah, it's called freezing it and turning it to ice. :p

I'm a child of the JLU era, i love when the Justice League is an institution instead of just a team. it's a collective of all of the earth's mightiest heroes, the world is a big place, it makes sense to me.

Snyder really didn't use this as much as he seemed like he was planning to.

I agree. I had high expectations for his run, but ended up finding it convulted and kind of dragged on. The fact that it didn't exactly conclude on the book, and had to tie in to another convulted event, was also very disappointing.
Peace

I feel like at the end of the day, it was all about Death Metal for him. His JL run was just a looong prologue. :(

I do feel like Snyder's high-concepts and zaniness kind of got the better of him in that run, and the actual ending being "Oh well, we lost, see you in the next event" was pretty bad.

I always have a good laugh at these group shots with The Flash running at top speed but also at the same rate as Aquaman/Batman/insert any non-speedster.
One of many ridiculous moments in the current season of the Titans TV show has Nightwing calling Superboy to meet him at a certain place that Nightwing is not yet at. Nightwing then gets there before Superboy and Superboy arrives after him though he is running at top speed. Did he stop for a leisurely lunch along the way? No. That show is just dumb. And these drawings with Flash keeping pace with other heroes are just silly.

I think it's more perspective than speed in this art.

I can see him right there, tucked in Hawkman's trunks... :p
Has there ever been any southern heroes on the Justice League?
THAT is an interesting question. It gets tricky, 'cause the JLA has so often been represented by characters in fictional cities whose geographical location is often up in the air. That said...
Superman's an alien who lives on the east coast, and is from the midwest.
Batman is another easy coast elitist.
Wonder Woman and Aquaman are royalty from hidden civilizations. Arthur's had a number of coastal US homes.
J'Onn's from Mars, but he spent a lot of time in Colorado.
Barry Allen is from Central City, which has often been portrayed as being in Missouri (along with Keystone).
Wally West is from Nebraska, but now lives in Keystone.
Hal Jordan is a west coaster (Coast City), but he has no fixed location.
The Hawks are variously based in Chicago or Midway. They did spend some time in St. Roch, however, which was definitely southern.
Green Arrow and Black Canary are variously from Seattle or Star City.
The Atoms are from Ivy Town, often a stand-in for whichever Ivy League city you'd like to see at the moment.
Guy Gardner is from Baltimore.
Zatanna's based in San Francisco.
Firestorm is from NYC.
Elongated Man is from Central City, but he tends to wander all over the world.
So, you can already see that the pickings are slim, particularly if you're looking for characters that are "distinctly" southern (i.e. sporting an accent).
- Bloodwynd, I believe is based in the south.
- If you count Justice League Dark, you could definitely count Swamp Thing, him being from Louisiana 'n' all.
- Resurrection Man is from South Carolina
That's all I can think of right now. Not a very representative showing.
Of course, it could be worse - it could be the Avengers.

Uh...I didn't think Ray and Carter were that close :p.

Thanks to the multiverse, *anything* is possible!

Wonder Woman has been based in Boston, Washington DC and Gateway City. All of them on the East Coast.
