Congratulations to foxley for a cover which evokes my memories of Highlights and things like that. Thank you for the efffort you also put in each week coming up with a fitting verse to accompany your selection. Regrettably, I often try to predict your selection and have never succeeded.. Someday, though, someday.
As to what the captain has learned this week, he has been given a refresher in the problems of comic art. How is something moving and invisible shown in a drawing? It's a basic question and one that often has black lines shown to detail the wind. My old JHS art teacher would freak as he HATED black lines. So what, it's a comic book. If a man can fly, the wind can be shown as black lines. Still, seeing interpretations of wind without the lines is interesting and exhibits the true diversity in comic art.
