It's kind of BS that Squirrel Girl got to continue but Spider-Man 2099 was cancelled.
And it didn't even get the usual FINAL ISSUE solicits. Just...stopped. And it's not like the story reached a nice stopping point. That last arc was incredibly rushed.

Not really. They have different audiences and purposes for the company. Squirrel Girl pops up in all sorts of Best Of lists, and is often sold in school book fairs.
So for a change of pace, where would you like Miguel or his supporting cast to pop up next?
ALSO, Kron, Roberta, and 2099's Electro have been confirmed for LEGA Marvel Super Heroes 2! I wonder who else is going to pop up...

Obviously, Old Man Logan.
But I'd also like for him to appear in some kind of 2099 series that encompasses the entire universe.
Hwelp, LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 comes out in a few days! Will be interesting to see who made it in, and how big of a roll Miguel plays :)

I think he should get another ongoing set in 2099.
Avengers 2100?

Well, yes, obviously :)

Just checked the known characters list, and in addition to Miguel, Roberta, Goblin, and Electro, Kron/Venom is in! And Hulk 2099 will be in one of the DLC packs! Minifig Venom 2099 looks wicked haha!

If Spidey 2099/2100 proves popular in LMSH2, maybe he'll get another series!

That would be the best case scenario, yes :)
Now here's a question for everybody. Given that the end of v3 marks the roll over to New Year's Day 2100... How many days pass in-story from the beginning of Spider-Man 2099 v1 #1 to the end of Spider-Man 2099 v3 #25?

Hmm... to be honest the timeline isn't overly consistent between Miguel from Spider-Man 2099 v1 and Miguel who appears in Superior Spider-Man and later. Like Miguel was originally from Earth-928, but now he is from the future of Earth-616. And other such inconsistencies between the stories.
