Good, now have Rusev bury Taker.
I think that's unlikely, but not impossible.
Taker does tend to vanish for long periods of time so him getting buried by Rusev is one way to go. And it gives Taker a WM opponent next year.
That said, I think the likely outcome is still Taker beating Rusev in a relatively short match.

I think WWE needs a gimmick for Undertaker to return with. Kind of like the urn, then the hat/coat, next can be the casket. The druids will march out holding him next return.
Something tells me both might get buried, though.

Highly unlikely but it would be a great moment for Rusev. Taker has always expressed putting over talent and Rusev would certainly be a top candidate that would receive a great boost from that outcome.

Could be as simple as WWE changing the card when the realized they got Jericho and wanted to do more with him than simply put him in a battle royal. But when they realized there was a Rusev backlash they switched it back.
No offense to Rusev but I can't entirely fault them for wanting to give Jericho a singles match. He's Christ Jericho afterall.

It's not possible that Jericho and Taker have never had a pay-per-view match, is it?

so we open with kurt. let's see who goes where.

Mid-card title swaps seems to be the norm for these things. Which is fine. Wonder how if effects Orton match at Backkash.
