^ I didn’t like that one because most of the members were already part of the Avengers or an Avengers team literally right before that, so a lot of the recruiting scenes were unnecessary and didn’t make sense. The Spider-Man “we have money” is pretty funny, but he had already been a main team member for 7 years. Great art though
Two of my favorites.

Can't beat a classic - Avengers #1 (original team), and Avengers #16 (Cap's Kooky Quartet)?

You beat me too it. I loved This team of Avengers. It is by far my favorite line up. It was great to see the founders leave and leave things up to a man out of time and three reformed criminals.
The issue after Morgan's Quest in Busiek's Avengers. Fantastic.
Love the original Avengers. Hulk in his brief time. Iron Man in his bulky gold armor. Thor who was always ready to throw down with the Hulk, Ant-Man and the Wasp who seemed oddly paired we the three powerhouses. Giant-Man turned them into a team of all heavyweights by issue #2.
Thunderbolts is my second favorite. The Masters of Evil became faux heroes. Eventually some of them became real heroes. Now a great idea that was hugely successful sits in limbo.
The Avengers have a lot of good ones. I used to be a big fan of the roster drive issues they'd have every so often.
That said, I gotta agree with the Hickman one. THat one just felt epic on a whole other level.

Issue 2 where they are all asked is so great.
Aside from that....The New Avengers coming together on The Raft during the break out.

Ah, you beat me to it. Bendis' New Avengers coming together was so awesome and I think I love it because it felt so natural even the hints at Bendis' previous works were cool i.e. Cage vs Purple Man
Avengers #301 when Cap gathers all current Avengers to do away with East Coast Avengers and West Coast Avengers to form one massive group.
