And on that note, lettered preview for next week's issue:

Great preview. And I'm definitely getting the Elektra variant cover.
Interview with Checchetto, including his approach to designing Elektra's DD costume

Today's issue of Daredevil was pretty good - working across essentially stories with two artists as a setup for tie-in issues... there's a lot that could have gone wrong lol.
Plus an interview with Zdarsky! Not a ton of detail, but still

I wonder if, at the conclusion of this ElektraDevil experience, there will be an effort to update Elektra's standard look again. If they were to continue on with Checcetto's DD costume influence without the motif, it could end up looking much like some designs we've seen in the past that could work.

I wouldn't mind her wearing trousers permanently, though not as baggy as her DD ones. And I'm loving the big hair so I also don't mind the head scarf coming and going as required.
Finally managed to get my copy of DD. I enjoyed it, I hope the artist split stays and we have Checcetto solely illustrating the Elektra segments of the book. Hawthorne's art was a bit better this time, probably because of the inker, but he is nowhere near Checcetto's standard. The fight between Elektra and Knullified Typhoid Mary should be a great one next issue.
Peach Momoko Daredevil #25 variant.

Preview for next issue - love Elektra's new use for her new sai!

Billy Club sai! That's ingenious of her. Also it looks like Checcetto is exclusively drawing all the Elektra pages as Hawthorne has illustrated the Kingpin page without her.

I can hardly wait to read it. This is the best any Daredevil comic book has been in years perhaps decades.
I'd like it if Zdarsky included some stuff from her solo series like Bloody Lips or Cape Crow. Characters that were created for her that aren't related to the Hand. Or a real blast from the past and bring back Nina McCabe!

That would be cool. *crosses fingers*
Comixology has an Elektra sale on until 07/02 if anyone wants to treat themselves.
