...I'm sorry, WHAAAAAAA!? Why is this a thing that needed to be included? I don't care what her reason is, Mind tricking your friends is an absolute dick move that even Qui Gon wasn't callous enough to do.
People talk about Qui Gon trying to use the Jedi Mind Trick to get Watto to take currency that would be useless to him. But they never mention the fact the man owned slaves, including child slaves. So forgive me if I lose a lot of sympathy that Qui Gon tried to screw over the slave owner.
As for Rey Mind Tricking her friend... I'm honestly not surprised.
decided to re-re-re-re-read "fist of the blue sky".
i don't know why i keep coming back to this. I've only read FOTNS once and yet i'd read blue sky so many times.
i think the reason is, for me, it tells a better story and i like uncle ken better than regular ken.
I actually like that one better too. I need to reread it.
I only recalled that there's one moment the Jedi Mind Trick was flat out horrifying in the Thrawn Trilogy. Joruus C'Baoth, mad clone of an already unhinged Jedi Master (the original C'Baoth was quite the dick towards non-force sensitives), uses his powers on this one guy, controlling his actions in a sense...And the dude literally dies after a few hours being away from C'Baoth.
Nevermind how he mind controlled an entire starship crew against their will to force them to go where he wants to go cause yeah.
Old EU even by the best writers can make the force insanely scary.

i also like the fact that it's not just one big power fantasy and has character evolve through the story.
looking at fujin's intros. turns out, he's a pretty cool dude. and him and Jax are old drinking buddies.

Adam of Your Movie Sucks examines Kimba and The Lion King, and in doing so thoroughly buries the notion that Simba was directly influenced by Kimba.
The sheer length of this video is because it also serves as a brief retrospective of Osamu Tezuka's work in the production of the various Kimba series, the franchise's manga and various anime, and the strangely misinformed narrative that's cropped up around Kimba allegedly being the originator being ingrained in published sources from authorship that never...actually saw the series.
Interesting rabbit hole to go down if you have two and a half hours to kill.
I 100% don't have two hours to kill.
But I also really want to watch this.
*looks at important pile of to-do stuff.*
Oh, well.

The proper term is necro-citizen. Thank you very much.
But yeah, I'm alive. How's everyone been?

Yeah I enjoyed it a lot. Ken’s uncle rocks!
The creators of Seis Manos have the scripts for season 2 completed and they are waiting for the green light.
What up Hazard!
I'm hoping that applies to the disciples as well. We've only seen each of them use what looks to be their innate magic, but not the magic of their devils.
It's possible.
Depends on if the Triad are generous or trusting enough of their disciples to give them more than a general power boost.

Welcome back... Necro Hazard!
...that was supposed to be a teasing new nickname but it actually sounds pretty freaking cool. Damnit!
Been good. Playing in my first DnD game (until the whole pandemic thingy), now playing through Persona 5 Royal.
You?
That was unexpectedly sincere chapter from Chainsaw Man. Much like in Fire Punch you get those moments of humanity here and there that really sell the bizarre weirdness of the series all the harder.
