yeah, sure.
Rogue had a better role than Magneto in X3, right? even Cyclops

It will be nice to see a prolonged look at exactly what prejudices mutants face, and a deeper look inside the heads of anti-mutant bigots. The films funny enough haven't given us a real look at humans who hate and fear mutants.
Singer being attached IS news. Bad news!
interesting that ALL sites missed the segment where he basically confirmed a few X-Men on the show.
If this was an Avegers spinoff that quote would be the headline everywhere
(Laughing) I'm not sure what...
MN: Suffice it to say it's a show that contains some characters that fans will be excited about. I can't talk about specifics, but it's not like there are no X-Men in it.
there u have it, guys.
Ok...so we have some X-men in the show...I say let the "underground" group of mutants be a covert team of X-men that Xavier has appointed to fight/protect mutants at large from the government.
I'd say, the Outback team: Storm, Havok, Rogue, Colossus and Dazzler (wouldn't even try to cast a Wolverine)... they end up saving the family being introduced in the television show. The oldest sibling becomes a recruit/trainee much to his/her parents disagreement...
First season, the X-team would deal with the government via Mutant Detainment Agents, Sentinels, Mutant Liberation Front (they sound like a better fit for theme of the show than Brotherhood), and Sinister, who is undercover within the Mutant Registration Organization secretly collecting DNA from mutants...
Please it will probably be about some generic white people with forced analogies.
Singer having actual power suggest that. Jubes can't get lines and Storm is ****

Yep, this seems probable. Be ready for "Bobby comes out in X2" for a whole season.

A team with Rogue, Storm, Havok and Dazzler doesnt sound like something Bryan Singer would do, lol.
the best scenario is a few x-men cameos from time to time, but the show wont be about the X-Men. They could be guest stars in one-three episodes, but thats the most we can hope. Think of Sif, Fury and Maria Hill in Agents of shield. Fox more than likely will follow that same approach.
It's a pity Anna Paquin can't be in it,she's used to TV work and it would be a chance for her to play Rogue as she really wanted to, perhaps as mentoring young X men.

Who says she's not? Right now we don't know anything about the series except for the barest bones of plot outlines. We don't know what point of the timeline it's on, or how it connects back to the larger XCU. We don't know anything about the cast.

Never liked her as Rogue. I hope Rogue will be rebooted in future movies.

With Super Strength & Flight
Singer being attached is not really news.
Well, it's not good news.
the problem with Anna/Rogue appearing on a few episodes and having great scenes including action is that would be a real shame if the character ended having a better use on Tv instead of the big movie franchise, where she should have shined. A real shame for Bryan Singer and producers that never cared to do it the right way in front of the bigger audience
