Agreed.
There's stuff that can be done with creating a mutant nation but Hickman's not done a bit of it right.
Just because you'd have done things differently doesn't mean he's doing things poorly.
As a comparison; I'm aware that some long-time Hawkeye fans didn't care for the direction Fraction and Aja took the character. That's a valid feeling. But to claim that Fraction's Hawkeye series wasn't "done right" would be absurd.
I don't really think Hickman is handling characters and stories right. His avengers and FF seemed much better build and defined

Not absurd at all.
Its entirely valid to appreciate a writer's goal but think their methods are just plain stupid and wrong.
Age of Apocalypse 2.0. Apoccy rules the world! Only most people hate it.
lol didn't we saw that in the Secret War: AoA In Remenders XForce etc.

Differing opinions are cool.Youve posted about the things you dislike about this new status quo. What would you like to see?

What’s “stupid” or “wrong” about it? Because you expressed dislike over the Five because of “retcons” that weren’t even retcons.

Yes I'm also curious how it should have been done smartly and right.
Can’t wait till Hickman is done, honestly. Guggenheim was better.
Just because Hickman is doing something different doesn’t mean it’s good.

Trap trying to retell the X-Men Glory years with character assassinating characterizations. Naw we not about to pretend like X-Men Gold comes anywhere close in quality to HoX or even DoX as a whole.

His Avengers book was a bore but New Avengers was great.

Now you're exaggerating there is no way Guggs is better than anyone.
I swear if some of you had your way we'd still be stuck with Rosenberg.
Not liking HoX/PoX is like slapping the comic book gods in the face.

I understand the current run isn't for everyone... But Guggenheim was better!? Wow... Just wow.
The Guggenheim run will only be remembered by #1 with jihadist messages and the fake wedding.
Absolutely nothing else from that comic will be remembered.
