Jean has manipulated more minds at once(such as when she split Charles's mind over what was it, millions, to hide him from Cassandra Nova back in Morrison's run). And a hurricane from Storm can easily sweep up thousands, not to mention freezing rain or another area of attack situation. Rosenberg clearly has a hardon for Madrox, but no, he really shouldn't be that big of a problem.
Wasn't the mind feat only possible because of the Phoenix Force? Which Jean no longer has.

Even back in the original run she and Xavier worked with hundreds of thousands of minds at once for that Z'Nox repulsion maneuver.

Madrox has the standard counter telepathy training, Jean Grey isn't taking over his mind. Also Storm isn't using hurricane force winds or mass freezing attack around civilians and fellow X-men. Sorry Madrox is a problem, It doesn't make sense half of people to try fight him with his power being activated by Kinetic activity . You can't hand to hand down Madrox he will keep multiplying. This isn't even Madrox being represented at his full potential as mention in this thread Madrox on several occasion use the fact that his multiples knowledge can be passed on to him and he has acquired quite bit knowledge on fighting. Like many X-men Madrox doesn't get shown at his full potential

Yeah, Jean has taken down an army of demons that had mental resistance in limbo
She's frozen a town full of people, and controlled a building filled with hundreds of people with her telepathy, and mind wiped a hundreds of people, she was able to stop a person that had millions of nano mechanical brains.
Storm can use her winds with pinpoint accuracy, and can flash freeze people
Same with iceman, he's an omega level and should be able to freeze them in a way that won't kill them.
Northstar, moves at the speed of light, everything should be frozen to him as he saves people and stops madrox.
The X-men feel all over the place in their recent battles, it's missing that feel of a strategist like Scott directing them and giving them a formation that allows them to run smoothly like a well oiled machine.
It's like the new avengers team that is supposed to be the strongest ever, but gets beaten immediately by everyone they come against, in such a short period of time.
If you don't build something up first, no one's going to care when you tear it down. You have to show these characters as powerful and competent in their own right, before trying to use them as a punching bag to show how serious and powerful your villain is.

Eh...I am not about to get in a Storm battle on this board. The ridiculousness of those conversations are not worth getting into. All I will say is Storm is not all powerful and the scale could be to much. Even if it weren't most tactics she has would result in more dupes.
However, with the way Multiple Man's divergent personalities work along with his training...it could be surmised that he can get around Jean quick enough to take her out. For her to stop all those dupes at once she would need some serious concentration to pull it off and even then it's not guaranteed. She for sure would need the other X-Men to stall him while she took the time to do what needs to be done. But by then, if Multiple Man had the numbers and a actual strategy, things could be over.

Wasn't that just Xavier
At least those Madri had guns and future tech stuff. Regular Madri vs. Storm and Jean +the others should not be a legitimate threat.
I agree. Especially for Iceman, Jean & Storm. Their range, area of effect and non-impact methods of attack (freezing, making them sleep) is ideal for this type of opponent. For me it makes the action less engaging/interesting and overall stoey start to feel more...PISsy.

I didn't know Jamie was able to duplicate things he was holding! doesn't it mean that if he was holding one of the infinity gem he could duplicate it? if he is holding money can he duplicate it? if he is holding someone can he duplicate that person?

was storm there? I thought jean and iceman were there. they alone should be enough to subdue him.

So every time she’s done something like this it was with help from someone else, either the Phoenix or Xavier. And neither is present.
