Is Storm Bisexual
Please make your case why Storm is Bisexual, using pictures, excerpts from official X-Men publications and or interviews with creators.
Please, argue the evidence if you want. Not the other posters.
Posting evidence she has been with men does not count because it's already stated in bisexual.
This is not a thread watching out for her "Heterosexual Reputation" and it's not an LGBTQ "recruitment drive" either. So forget about those two scarecrows. It simply is asking what makes you think she is Bi.
I will update this post with the evidence posted regarding her relationship with Yukio soon. I will have to condense the images because of the 4 images limit.
And I will update with more evidence if there is more.
Yukio***
Coming a bit later.

Evidence A:
"Bad" Storm Inverted in Axis.

Evidence B:
Controlled by the Shadow King. She is forced into kissing the feet of one of her female students, humiliated for his own amusement.

She's not.

Inverted Storm
-
So it is stated that the writer's intent was to "invert" Storm from what she truly wants. Not making her do things she truly wants. And we all know Storm already does x-actly what she wants:

How can she be doing what she wants when she is inverted?
That's all right. I have read claims that this was based on Storm's history so I am eagerly awaiting scans from her rich 40 years of history. This Axis sequence is likely but a tiny speck in the mountain of evidence displaying Storm's attraction to and love for women.
-
Yes indeed she is. She has always seen Yukio and Callisto as something beyond friends. They have a special place in Storm's heart.

Nobody posted any of her interactions with Yukio as evidence?
Storm is either bi with a strong male preference or bi-curious. And I'd argue there's much more evidence of Storm's bisexuality than there is of Iceman's closeted gayness.

She is. Her inversion was about treatment not about attraction.

Post it. I don't think she is bisexual. It's up to you to convince me.

They're wearing swimsuits. Loads of people go into hot tubs without any hank panky.
Callisto's tentacle could be simply massaging Storm.

Still shipping Storm /Thor either way. Notice I said THOR and not Odinson. .

Yeah, it's massaging her, all right.

Storm and Yukio have a special relationship. They make each other happy in ways no one else could. As Yukio implied in the first panel, she views Ororo as more than just a friend.

I think to us Storm might seem bisexual and she very well may be but i don't think that is the intent. Storm is simply someone that can appreciate beauty and attraction in anyone and as she is connected to life may not see people the same way a normal person does. If that makes sense. So in a traditional definition of being explicitly attracted to both sexes i would say no as I think Storm's attractions are more based on that specific person rather than knowing I like men and women.
Just wanted to add that i don't think she has acted on her attractions though. The term gay, bi, or straight seems like it would be unimportant to Storm.

When I read this, it was about Storm who wanted freedom.

I wouldn't mind seeing those two together too. The Thunder Goddesses. They would make a beautiful couple.

Being more than a friend could simply mean she sees her as a sister or a kindred spirit.
-
I'd rather it was Sif or someone who can dress sharp.
-
Oh dear God, I suppose it was only a matter of time before someone started a thread like this. I've seen the people who will fight to the death to claim that Storm is 100% hetero and the levels of reaching they'll use to explain away her relationship with Yukio and I am not going to get involved in this.

With the hot thub scene, that's 2 examples of Storm being caressed by a female friend. We're getting somewhere.

Theirs was not subtext.
Batman and Robin?
Captain America and Iron Man?

We can discuss other bi characters in another thread. This is about Storm. Not about other posters.
-
Maybe the question should be "is Storm pansexual" :)

Bestfriend/sisters thing.

Twirling someone's hair and caressing their chin is starting to get pretty intimate by most standards.

Of course it's subtext. Did you ever see them kiss? Mystique referred to her in french because they could never say it.

Which female character would you like to see Storm romantically involved with?
Which female character would you like to see Storm romantically involved with?
Top 3 in order of preference:
1. Yukio
2. Psylocke
3. Jean Grey
I like Callisto and Storm's rivalry, but I'm not really into love-hate pairings.

For years, Storm remained single. "There is no man, really, in the Marvel universe who's good enough for her, who is her equal," Claremont thought in The X-Men Companion. "She would not be taking a step down by falling in love with the Black Panther, perhaps. John Byrne and I toyed with the idea of having her get into a relationship with Scott Summers or start to, but unfortunately I've really kind of done that with Misty Knight and Danny Rand (Iron Fist). (...) Part of my antipathy toward the Black Panther is that I don't have any control over him as a character, and I don't want Storm suddenly showing up in other books, waltzing out with the Black Panther."
"There were relationships that I felt transcended gender," Claremont told Seriejournalen.dk. "Storm and Yukio is something that I never really got into. I mean, I had my own thoughts, but I never really got into it."

For goodness sake. She's a fictional character.

Thing is, their rivalry has been archaic for decades now. There has to be something else.
-
Blaming Storm's actions on being inverted during Axis isn't a solid argument, since it would have to be applied to the other heroes, and none of them changed their sexual preferences while inverted.

Not sure if this quote really says anything. I mean, Ororo was never actually shown as bisexual on the page. It's great that's how Claremont sees it but it's just his interpretation.
-
If Claremont says it, that's some strong evidence for me though on panel innuendo or hints is better. It was made quite clear how Mystique swings in an issue of Marvel Fanfare by Claremont.
I am certain there's a mountain of evidence coming up in the form of scans any day or month(s) from now.
