I am dying to read the 70s Batman up to Millers Year One. Properly collected. No recoloring. I would prefer thick trades like Knightfall.
New Frontier Deluxe is glued, some bad gutter loss. Lots of extras. Reused intro by Paul Levits (sp)was a disappointment.
You and me both on 70s Batman...I have a lot of it, the best stuff, but it is a veritable labyrinth of various trades and single issues. I hate Neal Adams recolorings and retouchings, refuse to own them, so yea...that makes it all even more difficult.
I'm gonna get that New Frontier Deluxe, I hear ya on the negatives, but I desperately want NF in one volume.

Anyone find it weird that it's been 4 days and we still haven't seen New Frontier deluxe make it to the top ten of IST?

Not the most surprising thing. The Absolute is still available for under cover and has been available for years, and was always one of the best examples of that format. I'm sure a good amount of New Frontier fans already had the absolute and don't want to double-dip for one extra issue in a smaller format for $25. It's not like the Planetary Omnibus, where a lot of people missed their chance at the first absolute and were waiting for another good oversized hardcover edition.

Sorry to report, my local comic book guy doesn't have another copy of the collection. I will keep an eye out for it. My local comic shop does get the odd gem from time to time. He got the Wolverine Vol. 1 Omnibus out of the blue about seven months back. He had it in stock for about 20 minutes before someone snatched it up.
