It was OK, I thought. The ending seems to hint at yet another expansion.
Also given that the Odin/Havi stuff is Isu flashbacks filtered through Eivor's mind, kind of wondering what Isu Surtr, the dwarves etc are supposed to be? We already know the Frost giants from the base game are the Isu from the other games.
Also wondering if Eivor's story will continue or just be left to 'expanded material' like Conner, Edward's time in England etc, the ressurection of Juno arc. How he ended up buried in "Vinland" for example.
There will be small settlement expansion soon-an "armory" similar to the settlements in the other games.

Details about one of the next games have come out with a VR title called Nexus, which will feature sixteen VR missions with four iconic Assassins - Ezio, Kassandra, Connor and Haytham.
-
Technically Haytham's a Templar, although of course his father and son are both Assassins. Wonder if it'll deal with some of Haytham's unseen history? Basically there's a big part of his life where he has to rescue his sister and kills Birch for destroying his family (Basically Haytham's story is somewhat similar to Arnos, although in Arno's case he becomes an Assasssin while Haythem remains a Templar). Or maybe it'll just reuse some of the stuff from Conner's stage, seeing as they're around at the same time.

Armory is up in the latest update.
-
There's a "Celebration" event tomorrow night, it's possible this might be where the next game will be unveiled.
-
They're revealed that the next free expansion will end Eivor's story (and maybe Odin's?) presumably explaining how he/she wound up in Vinland/America at the end of his/her life.

Well, we have a release date for the release date of the announcement of the new game-September.

There are now rumors that the new game will take place in Baghdad, which if true would hearken back to the middle-eastern setting the games have often taken. Basim also spent some time in Baghdad, so I wonder if he uses the animus it'll actually cause him to experience his own memories, instead of those of an ancestor (like AC I-III/Ezio trilogy) or an unrelated dead person (Pretty much every game since).

The final DLC came out, nothing really special, just sort of half-explaining why Eivor wound up in North America through some unlockable cutscenes (apparently to become a hermit and hang around with his/her mental Odin side) and a more action-based mission with a character from Mirage. Takes only about an hour.
