I like Cheetah but she wouldn't be my first pick for a WW villain with an ongoing. My picks would be Ares, Circe, Giganta, Dr Poison or one of the Silver Swans.
I feel like one could get a fair bit of mileage out of giving Angle-man a book too. His less over the top nature makes him quite malleable for having him bounce off of the less god-like rogues in Wonder Womans gallery
Let's be real, the chances of Angle Man (or anyone who isn't Cheetah, Ares or Circe) getting an ongoing are slim to none.
Circe had cameo in the Batman/Zatanna story in Urban Legends today.

They just can't resist using that design at this point, huh?

I know, right?
I find it so...pedestrian and indistinct.
I think it's too modern and specific. In 20 years it will be outdated and seen as a relic of the era it was drawn in. The green dress is timeless partly because it's meant to refer to the style of the past and thus deliberately anachronistic which is more fitting for an immortal.

Nu52 Circe reminds me more of that one Lady Macbeth painting than it does any depiction of Circe.
I love when Grail summons her in that Future State Nubia story and she's meant to come off as a big deal and powerful threat even though she just looked like some random lady wearing chestplate armor.

[QUOTE] Then the heart of the film obviously is the conflict between Lady Barbara Minerva and Selina. For me, that was just about, okay, we’re gonna have a catfight here and it’s gonna be a big catfight. So, that made Lady Barbara sort of an obvious choice for me to be the main villain of the piece.

Nothing but deep thoughts with Weisman.

Man really said "kitty lady" is perfect villain for "lady who dresses like kitty", huh.
Also, "Big Catfight"..... yeah, I'm sure the cursed god killing werecheetah that tangles with Wonder Woman is perfect match up against an acrobat with a whip.
