The only good piece of Star Wars news to come in some time.
Looks like it's being revived as an exclusive for the new Disney streaming service . (I think "Resistance" will show up on Disney XD).
At first I thought it was just a re-cap of the series to celebrate the 10th anniversary, but once I saw all the helmets (and no clips of the show) then I started freaking out. I'm glad the art style is the same. The Rebels style does nothing for me.
This is a really well made trailer.
Filoni knows what he's doing. If only he was in charge of the movies too.
They actually brought it back? Wasn't expecting this.
now this is how you get people to sign up fo ra streaming service lol

Little better than Anakin dropping down on a speeder and broodingly saying "f**k Obi Wan."
12 episodes to give the series it's proper conclusion, including probably that final battle with Maul which leads directly into Revenge of the Sith.
Holy crud. That trailer :D!!!
Man, using the lines from "Rookies" was perfect.
I'm actually kind of curious how long they plan this revival to last. I know there were a few unfinished episodes they had planned to bridge the gap to Revenge of The Sith (The Siege of Mandalore). Is that what they're aiming for here?

It's the 7th season.
I'm kinda confused that people are surprised about this.
It was written, directed, and voiced several years ago. It just hadn't been animated yet.

A lot of it had been animated, it just wasn't finished in that department. But that being said, they did release some of the unfinished episodes and released some in the form of books. With the focus Lucasfilm was putting on the Sequel trilogy and initially Rebels, Disney/Lucasfilm didn't really have a reason to do it.
I really hope they due a BluRay for those of us who don't or can't use streaming services. In any event, glad to see that the show is finally getting a conclusion, even if there will always be episodes that will never be completed.
