What happens to the WWE championship now.
Depending on when he tested positive he might only need 1 week. Assuming he has no or mild symptoms, he'll be back in time for the RR.

Depending on how severe he has it, he could just be out of action for a few weeks until quarantine is over and he tests negative.
Just means there will be either little build to the Rumble match or most of it will be done via video interview (which, to be honest, is how most of it was going to be done anyway since it's not as if Goldberg was going to show up every week).

Default the match, give title to Goldberg. Obvious!

Waiting for Goldberg to now show up and squash Sheamus and Keith Lee in the buildup to Drew.

They'll just replace Drew with Braun Strowman and give zero explanation as to why.
Braun can show up in a kilt and start talking with a Scottish accent.

I'm wondering it WWE needs to start filming "cinematic" match titles loses the second a person gains a title.
Keep them on file in case of COVID, DUIs, etc.

Or at least Alexa Bliss shooting Fireballs in the face of the entire roster to explain their absences for a couple of weeks!
Looks like Drew wasn't the only one to test positive. HHH helping out by filling in during a match tonight and a rather weird card overall.
-
Yeah people doing back-to-back matches, that was weird. It was almost like some two-bit promotion struggling to put together a card.
Also I have wondered about Lana whom we haven't seen since her "inspirational" underdog storyline. Is she legit injured? Because it looked like a storyline injury, but we haven't seen her since and she's sporting braces in her arm & leg in social media posts...

Clearly, more people than Drew tested positive for COVID, as that card was really thrown together at the last minute.
Lana is claiming to be legit injured but the dirt rags haven't confirmed it.

Terry Funk or The Nature Senior (Ric) can still out wrestle & put on a better match then Goldberg currently, hes no where near Jericho level (currently)..
Blake Christian is immensely talented
im more of an independent fan so Im familiar with his work
same with KC Navarro
i saw him in PWG BOLA 2019 but alex zayne was the one of the new(to me) guys who made an impression on me.
well, being "in shape" came mean a lot of things these days.
does jericho look out of shape? yes. can he still go in the ring? also yes. he's no where near as fast or as agile as he was, (because age will do that to a person) but he's still puts on good matches with younger guys and doesn't look out of place.
does goldberg look out of shape? no. he look great for his age. can he still go in the ring? HELLLLLLL NO! he can barely go 2 minutes in the ring without looking like he just did an iron man in the sahara.
there is a difference between looking out of shape and actually being out of shape.
agreed.
Jericho is definitely out of shape and the clowning he got from NBA twitter was hilarious. That said, the guy can still go. He can still put on solid performances while Goldberg gets gassed just getting to the ring. Goldberg is all show and no go. He can't work a mic neither so he's not enjoyable on that end.
this is why i think it's more accurate to say he "looks out of shape" or even he "looks like ****". the guy can keep up with the best.

Ricochet contract is up this year and he hasn't renewed yet. Personally, I hope he leaves. WWE doesn't know what to do with him.

Yep.
The poor guy’s trapped in midcard hell.
He’s too talented to be jobbing to RETRIBUTION.

Sadly with so much talent and so little spots your seeing guys like Ricochet getting stuck like this. Its a downside to having so much signed.
