Its said that Biden is gonna fire everyone he's allowed to more or less. That he's going scorched Earth from what someone said a week ago.
Biden needs to clean out all of the Trump loyalists and appointees who are not qualified for their jobs. I did hear that Biden will respect tradition and keep Chris Wray as head of the FBI.

In this example though, 'reseeding the earth' is a more apt comparison

The one who is going scorched Earth is obviously Trump. He seems to be going for his own Nero Decree. Rather than turnover a functioning government to Biden, he is doing everything he can to try to have Biden fail.
As far as firing Trumpists, have we seen anything from any of them that warrants them to keep their jobs?

In four-eight years, Conservatives will be arguing that 'purging the government of your predecessor's appointees' was an 'unfair norm' created by a Biden administration and thus they are entitled to do the same except even more.

'One of the nuttier things I've seen': MAGA civil war erupts in Georgia
At the center of the conflict is pro-Trump trial lawyer Lin Wood. His advocacy for President Donald Trump — and his unsubstantiated claims of election fraud — have been so extreme that he’s now taken to publicly discouraging people from voting for Republican Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, arguing that the runoff elections are already rigged.
Amid party fears that a MAGA boycott could cost them control of the U.S. Senate, Trump privately spoke by phone this week with Wood to tell him to “knock it off,” a source briefed on the discussion told POLITICO.
Axios was first to report on the call to Wood and lawyer Sidney Powell, whom Trump had dismissed from his legal team after she espoused expansive conspiracy theories.
And the first Trump henchman who needs to walk the plank after Biden takes over is that baldheaded hellspawn Stephen Miller. That bastard is THE most evil sumbitch in that abominable administration and has NO business being in government, unless we’re talking about Russia. Miller would fit in perfectly as Bad Vlad’s right hand devil.

Everyone in the Executive Branch/WH who isn't a career civil servant, will have to leave come Jan 20. Many are already scrambling for jobs.

Or busy writing tell-all books about the disaster that was the Trump White House.

trump has been firing trumpists for over three years. He demands loyalty to him but doesn't believe in being loyal himself.
...Unlike Biden, her [HRC's] team had a much harder time unifying the party and playing nice with opposition...
In fairness, Biden had the benefit of a universally loathed common enemy, complete with hideously vivid track-record to work with. Not saying HRC has no ownership in 2016's results, but motivating cooperation to vote against Trump was a lot easier last month than 49 months ago.

Everyday I see people remark on the turbulent year of 2020 coming to an end & sadly I don’t think folks recognize that we’re still in the early stages of this unfolding catastrophe.

No, we are indeed not.

Calendar years mean nothing to actual events in life. I understand the idea, but 2020's problems aren't vanishing at midnight one day!
