I'm down for some more Appalachian folk tales though I'm a little sad it's not with Corben.

I hope we get another Richard Corben and Mike Mignola collaboration someday.
I'm surprised they chose to go back to this storyline, I hope they go back and revisit some of the Hyperborean age stuff as well
I'm so hyped about this. Crooked Man is one of the very best stories in the Hellboy canon, and this is being written by Mignola himself rather than a collaborator, which it absolutely needed to be. I really was hoping we get more Tom down the line.
I know The Crooked Man took place in the 50s. Do you all think this will be set in '62? '75?

Same here, they're a fantastic match
I'm so happy to see this news! As if I really needed an excuse to read The Crooked Man again, before February. Corben was in his late 60s when he drew this and it is some of his best work of his career. He still has the magic! We're so lucky to have this.
Until the other day, I had no idea who Zach Howard is. Shame on me. After some browsing, I can't wait to see what he brings to this universe.
Hell, yeah!
Very happy to see another Mike variant cover...( I always love them)

Zach Howard's work on ''Effie'' is truly in the vein of Corben . The art is beautiful.

Yeah, I was really impressed with his work.
According to Dark Horse's site the 2nd issue of this has been pushed to April 1st.

I realized half-way through reading that I really need to go back and revisit "The Crooked Man".
