Like Cole Sear in The Sixth Sense, Miko Yotsuya sees dead people....she just chooses to ignore them, leading to some loopy supernatural situations. The quirky and spooky nature of this show attracted me right away.
I guess it's best to start a new thread for us anime fans to take part in and discuss shows and movies that are either out or are on the way to be released.
I finally watched both Love Live School Idol and K-On, one of them is way too cutesy and the other is funny.

This is a relatable moment, and is presented in a funny way.
K-On all the way

To the utmost, I agree! An all-time classic (LOL):

At long last, an anime series about ice hockey, my third favorite sport after baseball and football! Watched the first episode of PureOre: Pride of Orange Friday night, cutesy for sure, but, it looks interesting!

The Gundam of course is a bit hard to make out but seems at a glance to incorporate design elements from several 'main' Gundams.
However, the image of a Gundam in silhouette rising and doing the green eyes among flames kind of seems to directly reference the ending of the first Gundam seed episode.

Anybody a bit concerned about the political/AOT-related stuff this week? I personally don't watch the show but I'm wondering if this might have some backlash for anime as a whole.

Exactly. This is more on Congressman Paul Gosar as that hideous video promoted violence against a Congresswoman and the president. As for the quality of that video, it was pretty darn stupid, meanwhile, I know this likely won't happen, but, I'd love it if Hajime Isayama, the creator of AOT sued the crap out of Gosar.

To be fair though I'm sure that of course there weren't any comparable videos of violence against Trump back during his tenure in office... So if there was no uproar or coverage about them then this video...

Well, there was the uproar about Kathy Griffin and a mockup of Trump's severed head...

This is a very dramatic announcement for the third season of Kaguya-sama: Love is War.

I liked the web manga more than the anime. It was both funnier and scarier (certainly more grotesque) and the characters felt younger in the comic. However, it's not a bad adaptation.
