So you didn't bother reading it then?
I'm always amused by people who want a comic book to fail or get cancelled simply because they don't like a certain character.
Why rob someone else of joy or wish that on them?
It's childish.
And selfish. I mean, hell, if you don't like something there's nobody with a gun to your head saying you have to read it. Read something else. There's lots of good stuff out there.
I like to double bill it with Sundown: The Vampire In Retreat. They seem to dovetail nicely.
Damn fine film.
The saddest thing is the potential this show had, big budget, a writer or two from the X-Men show of that era, even Steve Englehart wrote one of the episodes
Wait, what? Man, Steve must have really needed that buck!
And guys... play nice with Pharozonk. Give him some leeway for the reckless abandon that comes with youth. :P
So you didn't bother reading it then?
I read the first few two issues and stopped after that. I didn't even bother buying them, but read a friend's copy instead.
Normally I would agree, but I hoped Superior Spider-man would fail because I saw it as an insult to Spider-man.
I saw it as a good point to say "Spider-Man is now officially dead, bye bye title"
Dropped after Amazing Spider-Man 700
Wait, what? Man, Steve must have really needed that buck!
Probably
He wrote episode 17 "The World's Greatest Warrior", if you are interested in watching it
Also episode 21 "The Flame and the Rose"
another one that doesn't hold up?
"The Last Starfighter"
I saw that at least 5 times in the theater, and LOVED it.
caught it recently on TV. . and ended up not being able to sit thru it :(
Agreed. I loved it when it first came out; now, not even Robert Preston helps.

You missed some damn fine comics then. You aren't one of those people takes funny books as serious business, are you?
Neighbors seems to be doing really well with critics. I'm excited to see it now.
You may have a different reaction to it, but I just sat there shaking my head wondering when it would be over. If my knee hadn't been hurting, I'd have probably snuck in to see Spider-Man again.
You missed some damn fine comics then. You aren't one of those people takes funny books as serious business, are you?
I dropped it cause I'd like to entertain myself with what I already have more often.
I have around 10,000 comics, still need to check a big deal of what I already have, which I haven't read

Man, H.R. Giger passed away.
