There are no ghosts. Anywhere. Ever. So... do whatever makes you feel warm and fuzzy.
That sounds exactly what somebody possessed by a ghost would say!
-
Nah. I'm way too apathetic to be possessed.
Assuming there's such a thing as a spirit (which I don't buy), when I die, I won't even have the drive to haunt my ashes.

Maybe you're possesed by an oyster.
-
The very act of possession seems to run counter to apathy.

It could be a really lazy demon/spirit:p

Sloth is one of the seven deadly sins, ya' know.

Then it wouldn't possess anyone.

Does hydroxychloriquine stop demon possession?
Does hydroxychloriquine stop demon possession?
Yes, because it kills you demons need a living host, or so I've heard... ;)
-
Hydroxychloriquine? Nah. Everyone knows that Alien DNA is a much more effective treatment for demon possession.

On a more serious note. If anyone wants a scientific (or as close as yet attempted) study of poltergeist phenomenon I recommended the following volume. I might not agree with all the author's conclusions but it is the only book that tries to rationally dissect so many cases. -
Poltergeist: A Classic Study in Destructive Hauntings by Colin Wilson
I don't think people who believe in this are crazy. Just not well informed or thinking critically.
But how am i supposed to be entirely sure that ghosts never existed (if they might turn out to be invisible & intangible to us)?!! Like you mean for example: the the people like peasants of the 18th century dynasty (which before technology was invented) who lack experience with the modern world which they're unfamiliar with?!

It's not about "entirely sure". It's about claims vs evidence. It's about the logic of the claim. Ghosts being real is not the default position. So accepting ghosts must be accompanied by objective evidence. As Carl Sagan said, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
Colin Wilson is far from a skeptical or rational look at poltergeist.

Well, ghosts used to exist, but chupacabra and bigfoot and Jersey Devils have chased them all away, so you're good. It's recent though, I was in New Orleans a few years back, and took a spirit walk through the French Quarter and surroundings. Weirdly, early on I didn't see any spirits. Cockroaches the size of mountain lions and twice as aggressive, yes, but no spirits. Then, after stopping in a few bars along the way, I started to see spirits all over the place. It was terrifying, even though I had fortified myself with a couple of hand grenades. Back then, there were spirits, but these days, after our failure to properly manage the bigfoot population, not to mention all those other things, well, the spirits evaporated.
Well, this is interesting. Have you been binging on the all the ghost hunting shows on the Travel channel? Seriously, I am curious to know if you are having some disturbances of unexplained origin.
As to those ghost chaser shows, I find that some tend to traffic in melodramatic stuff and I often am amused on how cowardly they are. I preferred the original series Ghost Hunters with Grant and Jason.
The gist of these Ghost (and Ancient Alien) shows is that there are some fine and thought-provoking examples, but a whole lot of filler crap which really has very little supporting evidence. As for the cowardice, it's comical how surprised they always are when a noise is actually heard after they try to make one happen.
