She's just there for the free food, Selene doesn't care at all about other mutants, except for the few that happen to catch her eye and even then she eventually gets bored and moves on.
Considering Selene is essentially a vampire...

Mother/daughter team Jean/Rachel could take them.

I'd rather see them facing off against Jean/Emma.

It would be interesting to see them all together. Jean saying she was once a black queen. Selene saying she already erased Emma's memory. And that in the end, Scoot chose Emma over Jean / Maddie

The Hellions needs more sexy people besides Kwannon.

there was a lot of Selene this week... at Excalibur and Captain America... loved it... she should be a major villain more. I wonder how do they re-conciliate the events at CA with normal Krakoan timeline.
No one is disputing whether she is powerful or not; she obviously is. She however is not among the most powerful telepaths. Thats not her thing. Its a supplemental power of hers which she does not specialize it. The likes of Jean, Emma, Xavier and Psylocke are going to defeat her in a psychic battle. She is also highly vulnerable to other psychic attacks such as what Dani did to her here, which unlike a powerful psi, she was unable to shake off
Selene repeatedly beat Rachel. As in she could have killed her. She beat Cable too.
She’s not just limited to psychic attacks.
Moonstar was able to defeat Selene because fear of old age is literally her weakness because if she extends too much power she becomes old and busted.
Of course if she goes on a soul smearing rampage she is way more powerful. She’s got a vast array of powers. Telepathy, telekinesis, pyrokinesis and life force draining. Plus she’s a powerful sorceress. Notice they did not just send a telepath against her in Necrosha. With all those souls she had eaten it would have been useless to attack her psychically. She was killed with her the knife she made from her mother bones that allowed her to eat the souls of Genosha.
During the Kulan Gath storyline time she was about to cast a spell on the whole world to transform it, and of course telepathy didn’t save the day.

At the end of CA she was handed over to Krakoa’s Quiet Council.

Not if these two went all out with their magic. Jean and Rachel would need to go Phoenix.
