I really hope they do it right. Red Son is the comic I got to like Hal after all. Please please please do it right.

To my shame I still haven't actually read Red Son, so I'm not sure how big Hal's role is in the story, but given that Phil Lamarr will also come back to voice John Stewart in the movie, this would likely be the first time we see Hal and John interact in an animated movie, which I'm looking forward to since I don't think we've ever seen that in animation before(I don't count Young Justice since Hal never seems to have any lines there).
IIRC Hal had a really cool but fairly small role and the other GLs had cameos but no actual dialogue. If they have a little more to do in the adaptation that would be nice :)
Spoilers for Red Son:
[spoil]The Green Lanterns were there just to get their asses handed to them, (Batman of course fares much better :eyeroll: ) so I have low expectations, but you never know...[/spoil]

Actually Kyle and Guy had dialogues instead of John in the comic. I hope we can see Guy in the animation because he said something very funny during the fight with Superman.

I just hope they won't cut Hal's background story out for the film length. And don't add unnecessary things. That's all I need.

And it's AWESOME.

Aside from that "The Brave & The Bold" mini, he also wrote "JLA: Year One" which was also great.

I guess this had to be around GL #175?

Anyway...Barry's life was truly a sad mess, and Hal was unknowingly boarding the crazy train, himself.
Ja?
Nein?
Maybe?

Yeah, that was so poorly written, I'm surprised they didn't call her a "girl."
