Did you read the first issue yet? I was thinking about getting it when I go to my LCS this weekend.

It was pretty average with no likable characters (including Marjorie) showing up yet, and not even half-hearted attempts to explain the time travel science. It's just one ish so I'll give the second one a try, too. But not off to a great start.
Presently:
The Good Asian
Department of Truth
Two Moons
Minky Woodcock/Tesla
up & coming:
Compass
Ant (Ant fan from waaaaay long ago)
A Man Among Ye

I have The Good Asian #1 waiting for me at the LCS. Looking forward to reading it. I somehow missed hearing about Two Moons. Just looked it up and it seems good. Ron Marz’s upcoming Swamp God seems to have a similar setup. Tynion turned me off to all his stuff with his changes to Batwoman in Detective Comics. I’m sure I’m missing out on some good indie stuff of his but I just can’t bring myself to read it.
My pull list is extremely small right now...
Department of Truth
Seven Secrets
all of the Black Hammer stuff
Miskatonic (not sure if it's finished, I am a month or two behind in my reading)
any Brubaker/Phillips stuff
I am also getting Something is Killing the Children in trades
There are a few things I read vis hoopla that I will pick up in trades too
-M
In floppy form I am pulling the last ronin. I finally grew tired of the big two and have been purchasing trades off Amazon.
Here is what I have tried so far:
Firepower- really enjoyed it and will continue.
Gideon Falls- interesting and glad I tried it but won’t continue.
Something Is Killing The Children- While I did enjoy this, I’m on the fence but I think I will continue.
Descender- LOVED it and will definitely continue.
Saga- “meh” won’t continue.
Undiscovered Country- definitely will continue!
Still to read:
Reckless
Oblivion Song
Most of what I buy is on hiatus
Starship Down
POrt of Earth
Reaver
Saga
Oblivion Song
Others are...
TMNT
Last Ronin
Savage Dragon
Radiant Black
Should also mention Paul Cornell's "I Walk With Monsters". Digging it so far. Creepy subject and creepy book.

I keep meaning to read Black Hammer.
I hadn’t heard about Miskatonic until I read your post. It looks interesting. I plan on checking it out. Thanks!

I hear you about the Big Two. Well, DC. I haven’t read a Marvel book in 30 years.
All in all, I liked Gideon Falls. I might’ve approached the last issue differently but Lemire is the successful writer not me.
While I’ve read all of Saga, I’m not all that crazy about it. I liked Paper Girls better.
I really enjoyed both Reckless OGNs. Then again, I love everything Brubaker and Phillips put out. There are certain writers that just do it for you and, for me, that’s Brubaker and Rucka.

I’ve only read Saga. Haven’t read Savage Dragon or TMNT since the very early 90s. Is the current TMNT series a continuation of the original Eastman and Laird series or is it a new continuity?

I really like Paul Cornell’s work. Last thing I read of his was the sequel to Saucer Country. I’ll have to check this out.

New. And by the way, the best TMNT book ever if you take the nostalgic factor away , they put so much thought into the IDW series, its just that great.
