Question for this hopefully more in the know than myself, my brother is a big fan of Alex Ross's DC runs, and I've just seen these come up for sale, would they make a good gift?

I think so. I think the Superman print and the JLA print are the best of the lot. The Batman print is a little monochromatic/dull. Superman really shows up well in the skyscraper print. The JLA print would also look impressive on a wall.

As much as I love Alex Ross, his stuff is crazy expensive. These are nice though.
I've still got his Flash poster somewhere in my place. I really need to find that again....
