congrats ed2962!
And thanks for the votes Darknight, ed2962, PaulBullion and Major Hoy:) and for the Hon. Mention from kjn
Love the love for the Odd Couple! So many great episodes -- remember when they would have shots of the exterior of Felix's photography business and that sign reading "FU Enterprises"? :D
I tried to send a PM to ed2962, but it bounced due to a full PM inbox.
And it looks like the last time he was signed on was around 10:30 p.m. eastern time / 9:30 p.m. Chicago (central) time.

Congratulations ed2962!
Thanks kjn for tallying the votes -- much appreciated. And thanks to everyone for a week of covers that have been a much needed boost for this mind and soul.
Congrats to ed! And what did WestPhillyPunisher learn this week? That Beach Boys lyrics and scantily clad women drawn by Adam Hughes didn't register with voters. Oh, well, better luck next time!
Well, to be honest, Fire's expression doesn't exactly scream 'joy' on that cover. :)
Oh, and congrats to ed.

Totally spaced out on voting.
I'll admit Shalla Bal's delightful and whimsical Roller Skating Cavalcade Society of America would have gotten my vote. :p
Although congrats ed2962 absolutely love the bro. Hernandez's style and Las Locas; Maggie and Hopey, they always bring joy!

Way to go ed, Love and Rockets is fantastic and I'd never seen that cover!
Thanks RR for the vote!

Congratulations to ed2962 for the win. I am a huge fan of los bros Hernandez and find Jamie's more simplistic style with its powerful ability to apply a carttonish style to expression to be extraordinary in what's so often a true to life story. And I did give it an HM, so I am proud.
As to what I've learned this week, the captain has realized that jumping on what seems to be a great cover is often not the best strategy. He was hummoing to himself while looking for the proper video to post when it hit him. The song, "Joy to the World". Not the Christmas song, but the Three Dog Night version.

After all, Jeremiah was a bullfrog.
And, of course, thanks to West Philly Punisher fpor the vote

Thank you everyone for voting! I'm sorry it's taken me so long to respond. Things just got slightly hectic with family and work this morning and this is the first break I've had today. New contest will be up in a moment or two! Thanks again for everyone who voted for me! :o
