He's doing a good job on Superman with Bendis, but I really wish he did something GL-related again. Though I honestly can't blame the guy if he was burned out after his run on GL, he was one of the main artists during Johns' run, then drew both Blackest Night and Brightest Day.
That's ok; just trust that Guy deserved it! ;)
That is a key ingredient in making awesome Guy sauce.
Of course, but if they can do Death and Reign back to back, then I think they could easily split the SCW into 2 movies.
That would take someone at WB with the ability to overcome great fear, and green light the project.
I think I'll take a high-quality animated movie over a live-action one at this point. There's probably a much higher chance of failure (conceptually/artistically) with live-action and with a lower chance of them giving us the Hal we'd like to see. In animation, the odds are flipped the other way, imo.

a movie of gl the animated series would be just perfect.
I wouldn't mind Nathan Fillion's Hal getting his own leading role in the DTV line. Maybe tone down his tool-ness a bit.

Fillion is fine as Hal but I can't help but picture Fillion when I hear him as Hal. I'd rather Keaton or Meloni, but that's just me.

I think they're all great Hal's in their own way :).
Well, Fillion already played a great live action “Hal” in Firefly/Serenity as Mal Reynolds. That’s why I’ve enjoyed his Hal so far.

Animation certainly serves the character better. As long as he's not portrayed as the frat boy again. Gives main stream audiences the wrong kind of perception about him.

(Sigh) DC Super Hero Girls...
But, yeah, animation can really have fun with the constructs :).

I guess with DCSHG it makes sense given that all the characters are deliberately over the top on the show. But we don't need that in more serious adaptations. I'm looking forward to Red Son.

I don't get why so many people are upset over the characters' depiction from that show, it's all meant to be a joke.
