Might be “Kara” but a Kara who is Clark’s kid. Wouldn’t be the first time they’ve merged different characters for adaption.
Yeah, but.... the tiny bit of info we have is the way the character looks... and it's not Kara.
Barry doesn't look like comics Barry either, though, and I don't always trust adaptations to exactly be accurate to the original comics anyway.

I can't say I'd be a huge fan of that, at this time.
Maybe I'm confused, but I remember a comic that the superman had two children, a boy and a girl, the girl had powers and the boy had no powers, I think the girl was called Kara in this comic

She wears a mini-skirt costume though. :p Also in her case the dark hair is actually a wig and her natural hair color is blond :p
The actress is beautiful, don't know why they made her cut her hair for the role, not a fan of short hair at all
The actress is beautiful, don't know why they made her cut her hair for the role, not a fan of short hair at all
The costumers probably had a specific look to re-create and this hair-style matches what they were modeling.

She's probably based on Lara Lane Kent.

Or Cir-El. Both are dark haired Supergirls with short hair.
That's not Kara Zor-El, but in the infinite expanse of the multiverse, why go with Kara? It makes sense.
Is she zod and faoras daughter?

No reason for her to wear the S-shield if she was.

Lor zod did it

You really think they’re going to retcon in a Zod daughter who was raised by Cavill Superman completely off screen?

No I think they will say a zod raised daughter sees the "light" and goes SUPER

Which other options?
Which other options?
Kara? She’s the most likely one they’re going with. Other option is Lara since they’re drawing on the Injustice Lara outfit. The chances of them debuting a Supergirl who is actually Zod and Faora’s daughter are very small.
