The ultimate troll move indeed. Although I wonder if the X-Men will even know who he actually works with? Maybe Scott is the only one suspicious? Quite the familiar plot.
The beauty of staging a grand entrance would be that the X-Men's opinions and/or knowledge of his allegiances wouldn't mean squat. Let's say the dude *thinks* of Slaying the Light and Ushering a Dark Age of Eternal Terror and Suffering™ 24/7, but he's always saving kittens, making cutesy speeches and taking silly photos with the folks visiting the Treehouse. What on Earth could the X-Men do about it?
The big surprise... Jean is Captain Krakoa.
Alas, we'll probably just get matching outfits.

I can imagine the in world headlines if they try to kick him out: The X-Men don't like saving kittens!
Matching costumes? That would be weird.

Of course it would. Still, does it not perfectly fit the upcoming "Cyclops being a whiny bitch about having the dude around" narrative?

It does. It surely does. I feel like it's very likely to happen.

Should we take bets on Cyclops becoming the team's Sage until the Season Finale?
-
I'm sure it's something really boring, like Mimic wanting to enter the team or something. With some luck we may get Vulcan behind the visor.
I'm just not optimistic when it comes to Cyclops, this books will end up as a Marauders 2.0.
I love mimic I hope that happens

A quick update on Captain Cameo:
He briefly showed up again in Trial of Magneto #3. He basically told Jean-Pierre he was awesome, did some War Captain stuff off-panel and later on awkwardly emoted to the insane Kaiju stuff for like two panels.

To be fair, the whole book is so bonkers- in a bad way- that is probably better for him not to have much spotlight, it can't possibly end well.
-
Merely an update, not a rant. Just wanted fellow Cyke fans to know the Cameo was still strong.
Here's hoping he doesn't even interact with whatever version of Wanda is left standing once this trainwreck is over.

According to the solicits Captain Krakoa has taken control of the X-Men and Scott is nowhere to be seen *sigh*
-
It's gotta be Vulcan right?
-
It's gotta be Vulcan right?
No, it's Scott himself
-
So Scott's going through another Erik the Redd stage again?
-
Did I call the Captain Krakoa thing or what, lol?
