Marvel allowed Bendis to write a teenage Peter Parker. Only to kill him off and replaced with Miles Morales. There was so much that could had been expanded upon with Ultimate Peter Parker's world. Instead, Marvel decided to kill off the Ultimate Universe. Lack of creativity....

I think adult Peter allows for more variety of stories and complex relationships. Teen Peter is restricted because of life experience.

Ultimate Peter Parker started in 2000. Miles Morales started in 2011. Seems clear that killing Peter and then introducing a new guy was not the initial plan.

Marvel should allow Peter to get his Ph.D in Bio Chemistry, which would finally make him into a Scientist.
