Reed and Sue seemed to know exactly what Krakoa's doing: collecting mutants as part of a larger plan, and they're rightly concerned about that and its impact on their son's well being.
Headcanon that dont even make sense. No one, including Franklin, has been coerced into going to Krakoa. And all know their dna is collected since thats how the resurrection protocols work, its not like its a down low secret, unlike Reed tampering with his son dna. Massive ethical failure that irl would get a doctor's license revoked. But thats to be expected from a bigot.
One is sending the kids they've spent the past 5 years raising off on their own into the dangerous expanse of the multiverse with a robot and a single adult as their only chaperones.
The other is refusing to let their biological son visit a place he wants to go to where he feels a kinship with its inhabitants because they don't want to "split up their family"
people complain about FF being sheltered than criticize them for letting kids explore space.

Maybe they should have explained themselves to Franklin
If Kate didn't run away with him

I'm team Krakoa all the way but don't you dare think for a second that I'm not itching to see Sue put Erik in a bubble again.

A kinship? Franklin is the epitome of privileged, so I doubt this kinship goes beyond surface-level understanding of the Kraked.
Only Reason he entertained the idea is because he's acting out toward his father and was lured into the position by Kate Bishop - which is tantamount to kidnapping.
Maybe they should have explained themselves to Franklin
They should have, true, but there again, that's familiy's business. Litteraly. And that's irrelevant to the X-Men trying to have him leave his family for their island, because they shouldn't have made such an attempt regardless of Franklin's Relationship with his parents. That's none of the X-Men business.

Maybe they should have explained themselves to Franklin
The kids have adult supervision that the FF trust in a potentially dangerous place. Franklin would have adult supervision that the FF obviously and quite rightly don't trust in a potentially dangerous place.
And not wanting to split up their family by sending their son somewhere dangerous... is wrong?!

I want Franklin to die and the FF have to ask the XMen to resurrect him. Make them say please.

I believe that's exactly what Reed says in the very issue.

When did Reed tampered with his son's DNA?
Also, Don't be coy about this, we all know the Kraked want to gather all the omega-level mutants on their island, since HoX/PoX.
Reed noticed it in-universe, and everyone knows the Kraked live off on an island forbidden to sapiens in-universe too.
Those are facts.

It's not space though, the Future Foundation was sent off on their own to travel the multiverse. Infinite realities. They had just gotten their asses handed to them by that Griever lady, and now they're going out there to die on their own.
But it's okay because those kids aren't family in the way that Franklin and Valeria are.

Travel the multiverse isn't abig problem. X-men send kids to die everytime.
Doubt FF gonna let them die, problem is that the book got canceled

The F4 have the lowest child mortality rate compared to the X-Men and the Avengers.
Kraked hates to see it.
