Vixen: Science Fiction/Outer Space story
Green Lantern - Medieval Fantasy
Superman - Murder Mystery (emphasis on mystery)
Lois Lane - Gothic Horror
Jimmy Olsen - Serious Romance
Batman - Family Sitcom
When I read 1950s Aquaman in ADVENTURE COMICS (with wonderful art by Ramona Fradon), I re-imagine him as a horror character like the Phantom Stranger. That's how land-dwellers would perceive him--this figure of mystery, with strange powers, that they can't begin to understand. All his stories are weird tales of terror.
"Hard Traveling Heroes" as a sex-filled comedic romp. Two heroes hit the road with an immortal Guardian to teach him the meaning of life - babes! (gives the title a new meaning....)
Vixen - Horror, specifically Lovecraftian cosmic horror with some Junji Ito inspired body horror.
The Spectre - RomCom.
Jonah Hex - Comedy
Captain Carrot - Political thriller
Nightwing - Not involving his love life.
Superman - Cyberpunk
Red Hood - Vietnam War film
Swamp Thing - Judd Apatow Coming of Age story

It's funny how I'm sure that at least three of these have been done already.

I can't speak of what might've been tried back in the Silver Age.
The Question as a sketch comedy show?
Lobo as a dirty limerick.
Teen Titans as an edible arrangement
Batman as a men's cologne.

The Question as an off-his-rocker game show host would be awesome. "That is the Question," hosted by the Question.

Eau du Bat is probably what he uses as his Bat shark-repellant.
