... No I remember him actually. As another victim of the Pretender. Let's bring him back with all her victims and send them to get her head.

He died while depowered so first they would have to solve the x-gene being gone from the depowered mutants before they could think about bringing him back i would think.

No, don't bring back Argent.

I thought you were talking about the original Argent at first.

Why not? Amara could use some love and let's bring in another South American boy.

Given how Magma, in-text, found it “a moment she’d never forget”, she seems to have forgotten.

Marvel has a bad habit of forgetting when characters go through things that should never be forgotten.

He appeared in like...three pages of one issue?

Yeah indeed. Did not make an impression, onl;y the way he died and how Magma reacted were spectacular.

Presumably the grief she suffered would have taken a toll on her, and it would be interesting to explore how she dealt with the reality of Antonio’s incredibly traumatic loss (even for a minor character it was a grim death) and return. But that would mean Magma getting some kind of spotlight and recognition. She wasn’t even considered important enough for New Mutants, being bumped for Chamber and Mondo. So I wouldn’t hold much hope.
She really should’ve been a member of this newest incarnation.

Hopefully there are plans to bring her in. We do see her on the X-Men cover with Scott, Dani, and Illyana. Perhaps she joins her old squad by then.

Kinda silly to state that because his first appearance was limited he is somehow irrelevant to any future stories. Wild Child, Diamond Lil, and Flashback appeared in one small panel before becoming established characters almost a year later in AF.
Amara should be in a book. Unfortunately writers never seem to know what to do with her. Argent as her supporting character could help with that IMo

Amara should be in a book. Not some guy we aren’t invested in at all. We have enough characters that don’t get used. We don’t need another nobody taking up space.
