We don't get it quite that bad wrt humidex (maybe 'humidex' is a Canadian term, don't know - I see you using Heat Index).
I just looked it up. They appear to be the same concept, just different terms used by Canadian vs American meteorologists. I feel like humidex has a better flow too it now that you've exposed me to it.

Yeah, I figured that was what you were talking about. :) Curious how these things develop. Looked up Heat Index - the numbers will be slightly different, due to them being based on different things, but the idea, yeah, same basic concept.

Turns out, thinking of a spider-themed superhero who isn't basically just Spiderman in a different suit is surprisingly difficult.

There has got to be a "stain my house with your bra" joke in there somewhere.
Also, that must have been disturbing to Rock on so many levels.

We don’t use either term, Humidex or Heat Index.
I know when it’s hot here it’s humid compared to mainland Europe (which doesn’t mean much - most of Europe is pretty dry, heat-wise), but it’s not exactly India, Brazil or Singapore.
Similarly though, I’ve known people who live in the Austrian Alps who visit the UK in winter and say they’ve never felt so cold (despite it being empirically much less cold) because it’s such a damp cold that it gets into your bones.

Hey Tami could you edit that down to just a link? We do have some arachnophobes on the site.

Len should also remove the video from his quote as well.

Well, the guy I'm working on actually got his powers from this species of alien monsters who happen to resemble spiders. (They can mutate people into more of their kind but it didn't quite take in his case.)
Also he's supposed to be a bit of a Spiderman copy - it's sort of an Astro City type setting - but I also kinda want him to be distinct enough to be a valid character in his own right.
I find that this sort of thing is easier with Superman archetypes since they're not really based around a specific theme.
